Nismo Motor Mounts installed - now won't clear strut bar :(

Its almost completely worn off the old mount in the pic. mine where the same. hope this helped explain my earlier post.

Really, there is a relation between the motor's height and the vibration? Does anyone know why?

I don't believe it's height. I believe it's material construction, etc.

If you look @ kazama, cusco, jgs, etc - they are just seemingly 1 single chunk of polyurethane. If you look @ nismo mount, it has more ridges, dampening etc.

And o, that nib, yea, I made sure that nib was sitting in the correct spot, thanks.

off topic but why would you reverse the engine mounts. aren't they the same for both sides?

Hey, Ive got the ultimate solution for you guys. Get the nismo mounts made for the CA18det from Courtesy. Theyre not on their website, you have to call them to place the order. The part numbers are 11210-RS520, and11220-RS520 i think. The CA mounts are about an inch lower and this should settle everyones problems. I installed these on my friends SR to lower the engine for better handling. They seem a little stiffer than the ones for the SR too, I think its because since its shorter, there is less to move around. Hopefully you guys are still paying attention to this thread.

I can personally vouch for the clearance with Cusco stb's and nismo mounts on both KA24E's and SR's.
