LOL

Who all gets to drive the car? If it's only one or two people you could hardly call it "NICOcub drives the 370Z..." right?

You came through San Anto and you didn't TELL ME?!I wanted to see the 370Z so bad when it was in Houston yesterday, but I had school (pffft...)

BTW, what restaurant did you go to, cause I know a great Mexican place just north of the downtown area near the Quarry (any of this ringing a bell?) called La Posada Del Rey. Great stuff.

Anyways, great write-up, glad that Nissan has another ringer under their belts, might just be my car at only ~$30k.

Lucky I didn't drive it. I would have taken wire cutters to that auto rev match BS. New cars piss me off; just as bland and phony as most people are.

Gotta disagree with ya again, Mikey.

It's a sweet feature.

Hell, synchros were once viewed the same way, and I doubt any of us would drive a manual without them.

THAT is a cool opportunity, to test out something that new so early on.

Hi there, Deville.

That interior looks SO much nicer than the previous one!

Thanks Jesda and Christian!

Yeah, I'll tell ya - This car certainly exceeded my expectations. I tried REAL hard to be critical of it, and two straight days in the saddle really gives you a chance to evaluate the little things.

This car is gonna make some noise.

Since every publication on earth is going to talk about the styling and performance, I have questions about the interior.

Is that real stitching on the nav screen cover and center console? How do the switches and knobs feel? I love the stitching on the seats.

From photos, I think agree that the base interior is nice enough to not bother with the leather upgrade.

I look forward to seeing how this compares to the Z32TT, my favorite-ever Z.

This car could make me a Nissan fan again.

Yes - The stitching throughout the interior is real, and the leather (or whatever it is) has a real nice feel to it.

There's some sort of "memory foam" in the door armrests that feels nice, esp if you drive with an elbow on the armrest like I do. It COULD be a half-inch wider, to be perfect.

The tactile response of the knobs and switches is not typical of Nissan - It's a little more German, in fact. The HVAC controls are not altogether well-marked, but then again, there's not much to learn, and I had them memorized after a couple drives.

The most amazing part to me was that there were NO creaks or rattles, even over rough pavement and odd inclines (ones that tend to "twist" the chassis).

The stitched "guards" on either side of the console are sweet (and functional). Your right knee (and the passenger's left knee) will be pleased.

It's awesome you got to drive the car and all, but I mean come'on, 2010 in 2008!? I thought getting 2009's in the spring/summer of 2008 was bad enough.

Next year car's should not come out until Nov or Dec. Hell, motorcycles don't even get information released until Sept. and then finally available to buy in Feb. of their model year.[/rant]

No doubt - But for the price of Yuki's car, you can have 2 370's!

(...and it has A/C...)
