I see a whole lot of non-Subaru owners postwhoring in here...GTFO

AHEM back on topic:I gotz a 99' L wagon, 5spd AWD with 133k back in June of last year. Has the EJ22 engine. Was getting a routine catalytic converter replacement in March, all the bolts underneath this thing are rusted. So the easiest thing was to remove the headers. Turns out 2 out of the 4 bolts holding them on broke off inside the heads. Result: useless heads (made out of softy aluminum, drilling out bit was not an option).

So I ended up getting some used phase I heads off of a Subie friend in Philly, dropped 'em off at the machine shop, they're ported and polished (mildly I guess). Got a Stromung dual catback and Borla headers while the car is off the road (still is), and some other stuff it needed while everything is apart: clutch, engine/transmission mounts, new rear shocks, etc. Ended up sending the cams to Delta Cam in Washington. Got the Stage 2 grind that's still good w/ the stock ECU. They shipped it out today. I hope I can get my car back in July (not exactly a paying customer so it's side work). It will also be getting a rear disc brake conversion and stainless brake lines all around. It's going to be practically a new engine when I get it back.

I can't wait to hear the engine rumble!!

I haven't driven the Impreza since I picked it out for my aunt. So far so good. The dealer is meh.

Subarus are weird looking, but they sure are damn nice cars. Not for me.

Now, I'm gonna go plant a tree and name it Legacy.

And I'll say it again and again.

People don't buy them for looks. They buy them for functionality, quality, and performance. Now hold my hand while I gather these cans for recycling.

I've got a 02 wrx... basically stg 3. Full exhuast, ssac tmic, turbo inlet, 850cc modded stock injectors, runnin on e85 and 20 psi. Fun car

I've been debating whether i wanna sell it and get something cheaper like a focus and buy a 240 for a project car... or just keep the subie as a daily driver, and still buy a 240 as a project car xD.

Either way I'll probably swap a vf39 into it since they're so cheap.

He was jealous that my S14 did better donuts. He tried to one up me. Instead of smokey goodness, he got rod knock.

Woot! I missed this one on the first time through.

I'm daily driving my 1984 Brat now.

I was just at a junkyard today and found a 83 Cyclops Brat and a 83 or so GL coupe.

Looked sorta like that. I've never seen one before today. I feel strangely compelled to seek one out and buy it now.

and the 3rd one over is a Cyclops Brat.

You could have had an easier time making fun of us by pointing out that the grill of that 06/07 is the flying vagina. The wings, hole, and badge is the clit.

And taking a better look at it, it definitely isn't an Impreza. It's a photoshop of some hideous lights onto a Subie. Looks like an effed up Subie with some G35 headlights.

No, it's not an Impreza. It's an R1, which you should help me make fun of. It's got an I4 (not H4) and is FWD.

Oh, I'm not trying to make fun of you. I just had that pic left over from a different thread and thought it was appropriate.
