It looks like everyone had a great time in KY over the weekend! I wish I could have been there, but I'll be there come spring time. I'll have to get my car looking a little better and running a little faster to sit next to all of those sweet S14's!!

Can someone post a list of all the ET's in decending order so we can see who runs what? That would be cool.

there, there repo, it'll be ok. I admit that I couldn't beat most (if any:rolleyes ) of the cars there. I didn't go either. I took my girls I30 to the Louisville streets meet instead. My J30 has been in the garage for over a week now waiting for a new p/s belt and for me to figure another performance problem it's having...just need time to do it all. I'm not to dissapointed abouit missing it though. I had fun at the other meet and we went out later to Wicks pizza/pub with TonyVQ, chris and jeff(two 300zx owners).Ohyeah, we saw a G35 coupe that day too. WOOHOO!Even though I wasn't there I congratulate all the people who went and continue to go to the NICO meets to make it all happen!

jezter, your car doesnt need to be much faster, if any, to beat almost all the s14's that were there, lol. robbies was the fastest 240 there, running that 15.7. that was FAST! there were 3 s14's there that were auto, mine included. so you would definately beat us!

Cool. 15.7 is a pretty good time for a 240 on motor. Red, was your bottle warm? Why do you think you weren't getting pressure up to spec? Do you have an LSD?

Sy, that's a damn good time for a stock 240. Yours is stock, right? Glad to see you went to the meet. How are the prospects looking for getting everything fixed?

Mayhem, I can empathize with you on the car in the garage with no time to fix it thing. And who needs to be quick when you're pimpin' in a J? See you in the spring.

Cold_Zero and I went car shopping Saturday. I drove a new Max, 3.5 Alty, and rode in a WRX. Looks like we're losing a 240 owner to become a Scoobyman. Oh well.

yea yea red. whats good about having a higher top speed if i won't ever get there!?!? lol. i'm sure hoping for a really low 16 when i get that exhaust on there. for b-day in april, i think i might ask for a header. so w/ the I/H/E, i'm really looking to be in the high 15's relatively easy. we'll see i guess!

I don't have a bottle heater but i was using an AC inverter and a heating pad but with the temp at like 40 its hard to keep anything warm. I do have an LSD but the track due to all the rain was giving ****ty traction. I was spinning and bouncing everywhere it was crazy.

When I raced Fred i missed 3rd gear so i lost but I had a 60' time of 2.230 and I was gaining on him so it would have been a really close race

Looks like it's time for a dedicated bottle heater/warmer. Maybe you can get a hondaboy to cuddle with it and keep it warm.:D

I hate missing gears. I'd like to see a rematch of you and Fred. When did it stop raining? The cold always makes for a lack of traction anyway. You've still got way more traction than me though, with those steamroller tires and the diff.

You'd better watch your back Red. Ben is gunning for you. He may just pick up a Vigilante converter and some stickies and whoop ya come spring time! Let's not forget about those '91 cams he's got. He'll be coming on strong in the spring, I have a feeling. Wontcha, Ben? :icesangel

Hey Robbie, unfortunately that is the best pic of that race I got. My camera didn't have a zoom so the bigger pic looked terrible. I will send you a pic of that one if you email me your email. [email protected]

But that is a kick a@@ picutre though isn't it? I know I am loosing but it was a "close, kinda" race. :D

We never did have any rain while we were there.

track was dry just a bit cold for good traction.

My times were all 15.1 except the first and the last were worse due to poor starts and some excsessive tire spin.I was so hoping/expecting to get into the 14's tho..:(

Ran a total of 7 runs.trap speeds were decent with mid 94-96 for all of them, w/ the best one being 96 (twice).

All in all pretty consistent runs same time every time, except when I lost traction the first and last run.

Fred...:)

yeah it was. You ran a [email protected] and I ran a [email protected]

Repo I just might have to do that about the honda boy but Ben is going to have some trouble also i'm changing the rearend gears might go with a 4.36 or a 4.63 depending how bad the interstate is going to be but thank god for LSD it helped when dumping at 2 grand and spinning like mad

Hey guys, sorry I couldn't be there. I really wish I was, especially after seeing these pictures. I would have loved to run my car and get my first 14 second time slip! Oh well. I will be at the next one for sure! I suppose I could have driven my 210 up there (hey, it's a Nissan :)) but it wouldn't be the same without my spec V.

LMAO repoman! dude, i'm not gonna be near red in the spring! well, maybe KINDA near (hopefully low 16's), but i won't be in the 15's for sure! oh, and those '91 cams, i'm not getting them. i talked to the guy a week or so ago, and he said he forgot about shipping them (was about a month late in tellin me this), so i just said dont worry about it. i mean i could get them and have them put in i guess, but i don't know. after i get my exhaust on, i'm looking for low 16's (won't find out till the spring tho, cause they closed the track:(). for my b-day in april, i'm gonna ask my parents for a header. so hopefully, after i have the I/H/E done, i'll be in the high 15's. so if we have a meet in march, i'll prolly still just have CAI and exhaust done, performance wise. i am going to get new rotors here soon, get a transmission flush w/ pan drop and new filter, and a transmission cooler here soon when i get my monitary funds built back up after paying for this exhaust! it was expensive!!

We picked our date first and published it on LS about 20 days ago. Then about 10 days someone on LS picked the 19th for their meet as well.

So they missed out on NICO participation.:(We are the largest local contingent, hmm maybe they all should have just showed up to our meet?:thinker

We had a GREAT meet

Fred..:D

yea i went to that meet there still was some nissan's there

Seriously Ben, look up Precision Industries and inquire about a Vigilante torque converter. It could be more of a gain in your car since it's an auto than a header and exhaust combined.

I'll bet that exhaust was a pretty penny...
