Then the problem that i've seen a couple of times (exageration) is when somebody has a part or kit that somebody else doesn't like...they'll get flamed for it pretty bad, and everyone will join the douchebag that's flaming.ddgsxr504 wrote:My big annoyance lately is that people don't seem to have any imagination or ingenuity. whats the best part for .....which front end conversion.....which aero kit.....which paint color....
I don't think I have ever come on here asking which part should I get for my car. Why do people need others inputs when modifying their own car.... It's YOUR car @ss wipe.
Gotta love anonymity right?ddgsxr504 wrote:All these people that b*tch about NICO being slow/mean need to get off the can, wipe their hurt butt and move along, this is the internet.
I built my own turbo system from the ground up using subaru turbos... nobody uses that crap.AZhitman wrote:there's only a few peeps in this thread who have really tackled some outlandish S-chassis tasks.
Nope, don't worry about it. If it bothers you, start the car up and let it run for a half hour or so. Keep an eye on the temp. You should also get some fresh gas in there. I'm guessing you didn't put a fuel stabilizer in there before stashing her for the winter.sj wrote: i noticed rust on the water pump pulley where the clutch fan used to be..
what are some of the challenging projects documented on here? i'd like to check out some original stuffAZhitman wrote:My response? You must not be taking on enough challenging projects, because there's only a few peeps in this thread who have really tackled some outlandish S-chassis tasks.
Sounds interesting.Razi wrote:I like WC's thread cause he is so thorough with everything, he is basically building a new car.Hotness.
why thank you. it feels good to hear that. i feel like small potatoes when i look at some other build threads (olym, naloo, yellow2000SR, etc) i don;t have a huge budget so i'm pouring my time into it more then anything. sometimes it feels like my progress is really slow cuz i spend FOREVER on one thing until its just how i like itRazi wrote:I like WC's thread cause he is so thorough with everything, he is basically building a new car.Hotness.
zer...ge=24the fun starts on page 13, my old car was page 1-13, everything after is the current carS13_love wrote:

It's the internet, you have to remember that alot of people don't have basic socialization skills let alone decent typing skills and tend to just jump on the bandwagon. Not everyone is going to like what another person does and vice versa, just take it all with a grain of salt.S13_love wrote:Then the problem that i've seen a couple of times (exageration) is when somebody has a part or kit that somebody else doesn't like...they'll get flamed for it pretty bad, and everyone will join the douchebag that's flaming.

If you're small potatoes, I'm the dirt.My car is just basically new paint, going KA-T, a few suspension bits, and lowering springs and KYB struts from the previous owner. I really should replace my bushings, then I'll feel somewhat accomplished.White Comet wrote:why thank you. it feels good to hear that. i feel like small potatoes when i look at some other build threads (olym, naloo, yellow2000SR, etc) i don;t have a huge budget so i'm pouring my time into it more then anything. sometimes it feels like my progress is really slow cuz i spend FOREVER on one thing until its just how i like it
