no he got in by inter domain routing. he just got back from attending a workshop headed up by RIPE NCC. the little freak learned a new trick and decided he would take NICO on. hell i guess i would too our site is easy to hack. we need more security! im just a pawn so i cant help. but i can help whoever the webmaster is make sure this never happens again....

Is the database ran off the same server as nico is or is it a dedicated databade server.. I'm pretty sure if you separate it from the actual hosting server for the site you can dual layer the passwording for the database so it won't happen again

Amazing. Other sites go down for days to weeks after a hack- or for no good reason. You guys have things up and running before many of us knew it was down.

I had just heard of this, i'm out of the loop.

Awesome job to the Nico team and TekSolvers. I also like how TS is now running a classic DOS attact on the hakzor dorks. This is the worst terrorlst attack ever, and checkout that awesome english.

Okay, just hearing about this. First off, to our admins, mods, and computer gods, good job, and thank you.

But this really pisses me off. Some jerk off decides to come into our house and mess stuff up. That don't get it. Do we have any nice boys/girls in the armed forces that may be stationed in Kuwate that can go do a little home schooling on these idiots? Do we know anyone that flies a A-10? A 30mm dupleted uranium shower sounds about right to me.
