The only thing I can agree with you on.

All the work and stats that happen in the first 21 weeks (Pre-season) doesn't matter when the playoffs start. The Steelers won it all a few years back and they were the worst seed. Cardinals went to the Ship and they were a wild card team. The Giants in 07 as a wild card beat the "Dynastic" Patriots. When the playoffs start ANY team can walk away with the championship.

/Pre game speech for Jets next week

Of course you have your odds but NEVER be surprised...

Of course I know this and wasn't basing my "prediction" on the Jets win during the regular season, the Colts basically put their scout team out there and said "Try your damnedest not to lose to bad."

I do believe that the Jets winning against Colts set them off, a sort of personal victory in a way, because basically before the Colts game the Jets weren't expected to make the playoffs. Now the Jets seem to have hit their stride at the right part of the season.

Yes, I apparently missed something in the predicting of the Ravens Cowboys super bowl, and blah blah blah, read all the ridiculous predictions that are quoted all over the place. I do know a thing or two about the NFL and football in general, that's why they play the games, wacky things happen in games that turn them around quickly. I mean look at the Jets, were they supposed to beat the Chargers in the eyes of the odds makers and NFL analysts? No, but of course, that's why games aren't played on paper.

My prediction is that it'll be Colts vs. Vikings. Colts will win it.

If the Colts beat the Jets, timay will be heretofore forbidden to make football predictions on Nico. Arbitrary moderation ftw.

Were not getting on you because you have an opinion, it is your lack of backing behind that opinion. Like the whole Darrelle Revis vs Peyton Manning argument. The Jets can't cover Laverdious Coles when they played the Bengals and yet Darrelle Revis is suppose to cover all the Colts receivers this week? Not gunna happen. Peyton will throw a TD pass to Austin Collies 2nd cousin if he were in the end zone. And I am not sure if you have been following the Colts this year but there has been games where Austin Collie was the number one target, the same goes for Garcone and they put up big numbers.

Oh and if you watched the Chargers vs Jets game, Antonio Gates had a big game. The Colts have a pretty good TE on their team to.

Oh, and I am a Jet fan, no bias.

Seriously?

It was Manning. Not Collie and Garcon. The only reason they racked up 100 yards each is because they lined up at WR for the Colts. Again I say that it doesn't matter if two of the local Indianapolis Pop-Warner team players line up at WR...If they are open, Manning will throw it to them. Oh and I use the word "open" loosely.

Before this season most people didn't know what a Collie or Garcon was... They didn't make the difference in this game, Manning did. All Collie and Garcon did was run good routes and catch the ball. Nothing out of this world.

Congrats on the win Colts fans...I still have the Vikings winning it all though. It was my week 3 prediction and I still like them now.

Go Minnesota!

EDIT:Also the only reason we lost is because timmay predicted us to win

Can I just ask, Timay, please please please keep picking against the Colts. Please... pick the Vikings or the Saints to win against the Colts in the Super Bowl.

All this talk about Manning and the Wide Receivers is a bit near sided. The Colts D were the ones that kept the team in the game. They made only two mistakes, two blown coverages from Lacey and Hayden, which were forgivable since Hayden came down with the interception late in the game. But when the team needed big stops on 3 down they came up big. This is all surreal as for years the Colts D has been the weakest link on the team.

Glad I could help, Jets were lucky to get this far. Blame fat bastard Rex Ryan for jinxing you.

This 'butt hurt' Redskins fan is here to say, that Hash was right. Cowboys choked, that is what they do. Regardless of 0-6 in the division...

Personally, I think Rex Ryan is one of the reasons why they went as far as they did and why they will continue to be a good team in the future.

But you have to realize that Colt fan has had to fight off haters for the past how many years now? Brady crying about the attention that Peyton gets and broadcasters doubting the legitimacy of the team. Not to mention all the stupid s*** that the unprofessional home of the Ravens football team pulls. This city needs a second Super Bowl.

Glad you admitted you were butthurt.

How exactly did the Cowboys choke anyway? They made it past the wild card round and then were beaten by a better team.

I thought I was going to lose my voice from all the screaming after the td pass from the wildcat formation.

It was nice to see the run game show up today too. Not a gamebreaker, but certainly enough when combined with some of Manning's pump fakes to loosen up the Jets second and set up a couple of nice play action successes. The Luke looked like it was pretty rockin' too.

I wish I still lived in B'town.

The run game of Addai and Brown helped to take pressure off of Petyon. It also helped to run the clock down in the 4Q. May have not been the run game of old with Edge, but was nice to see.
