Newcomer - from Spain!

Hi,

We have a Nissan Patrol 2.8tdi Y60 from 1998 and are hoping to find and share information.

So far, having had the Patrol for a couple of years we have found it to be a reliable beast - despite its 19 years and 210k on the clock.
The weather here can be extreme with 40°C in summer and -10° in winter.

Only problem so far is the on board Nissan security system which we have had to bypass...

Well, she's not a great looker but...

I will try to dig out a picture or two.

Thankfully, having been in a warm climate at least half of her life (she was imported from Germany, although not too sure where from) her under belly is well preserved with almost no signs of rust.

When I purchased her I received a CD with the car which had a folder called "GQ Patrol Service Manual - Y60 - Nissan" and that contained 20 pdf files.
Whilst they have the same names (AT.PDF, BF.PDF, BR.PDF, CL.PDF, EC.PDF, EL.PDF, EM.PDF, FA.PDF, FE.PDF, GI.PDF, HA.PDF, LC.PDF, MA.PDF, MT.PDF, PD.PDF, RA.PDF, SE.PDF, ST.PDF, START.PDF, TF.PDF) the files are not the same- size, content, number of pages are all different.
When I get a moment I will try to see what the differences are.
