Dr. Savage is a fine source for information. I used to listen to his show every night when I worked as a convenience store clerk. While most my age (19 to 20 at the time) would have had the local rap or rock station on, I was rocking out the talk radio with Michael Savage. I admire him, but sometimes, when he's going off on his tangents about his Toy Poodle...eh....I lose a little respect.
back on the topic at hand:I've been looking into a local militia and apparently the Pennsylvania laws do not prohibit a standing private militia from being formed and have been highly considering this route as a Gun Club by day and Militia by time of need. I'm waiting for the revolution to come about. I know it's there. Hell, the old war vets I've met and talked to at length with, people that fought for this nation and lost their best friends to unmarked graves in foreign lands for this nation, have even told me some disturbing trends they're noticing.
"In my day, the thought of fighting for your freedom involved military service and killing some foreigner on his homeland in order to secure liberty in your own. The thought of rising against the government to remain free was a cockamamie idea and you would be locked away in a padded cell for that. But with the way things are going nowadays, I wouldn't be surprised if you will have to fight to take the U.S. back sometime in your lifetime."
I'm talking about level headed gentlemen. Realists. Simple people who enjoy the simple act of living and being. My dad taught me to be shoot straight and speak the truth from little up and he always told me that a day would come in the near future where there would be an armed uprising in this nation, and it would be to take the country back. I always wrote him off as crazy. Because quite literally, my dad was not very mentally stable. There's medical documentation to prove it.
But as I see things progress, I see it grow more and more true. I might have to go into the woods with an axe and a chainsaw and a hammer and start constructing my fortress of solitude.
