Those really do look nice Doc! I was hoping to have a fellow black chrome coupe owner but I have to say that the boss wheel design more than makes up for it! Two thumbs way up!

black diamond? is that black chrome? because I don't see any other color on the BOSS wheel site http://www.bossmotorsports.com...d=277#
recheck earlier post, they haven't yet released word of the black diamond yet... it's not even on the 2008 catalog, the 2008 catalog still says black chrome... but again, that's been discontinued... chances are, even if you call your local BOSS rep, they may not even know... my guy spoke with the CEO of eagle alloys, and this comes straight from the Boss's desk (pun intended)

....oh yes, I forgot, they do have like one or two more sets left of 20" black chrome, but they are in Canada, and for some reason they won't ship them to the USA...forgot to mention that earlier... so if any Canadians want the last pair in existence, call your Canadian Boss Motorsports representatives

So, finally got them mounted, huh? Looks good! I usually don't like chrome, but these look pretty good on your car.

lol, I completely understand, there are two types of wheel folks.. those that like chrome, and those that don't... again, although I love chrome, I did want these in something a bit different which was the black chrome.. black chrome looks like a beatiful mix of hypersilver, hyperblack, gunmetal, all with a hint of chrome shining through... it really does look amaxing IMO.. but In this case, although the chrome was my second option, I really love it!! To each his own...

Significant difference between the 2.5 and 3.5 springs? We will find out... I just picked up the springs....

Chrome looks GREAT on grey/silver, dont think so much so on white. No real difference on springs between the 2.5. and 3.5...Ive check the spring rates on both.

So Robert, I LOVE the way 20s look (great chioce of rim for your car!)...my concern all along is how it would effect the ride...so, how has the ride been effected. Is it much stiffer? What differences are you noticing regarding sensitivitiy to regular daily driving, hitting little bumps, etc...

WHAT IS YOUR AIR PRESSURE? I know I ride with 30 to 32 just cause it gives a WAY softer ride than 35 or more. Tire wear is a bit worse, but I like the softness of the ride much, MUCH better with the lower tire pressure.

I really want to go with 20s, which I think looks the best...but my priority is the behind the wheel feel vs. cosmetics, so, what are your specific comments on this?

regarding ride quality, I absolutely love the ride. I really don't notice much difference in ride quality (because I honestly don't think the ride quality is that great on the 3.5 coupe) so, no not much difference. Of course, you don't wanna hit a pothole or a bump too fast, but for everyday driving, not much difference... well I take that back...

with the 245/35/20 tires, the car is SOOOOOO much more surefooted on the road. The day I got them installed was the day it rained really bad here in San Diego. On the stock tires, I could feeel the car lose traction in puddles and da*n near hydroplane on the highway... while testing these on the wet roads, I was amazed. They literally stick to the ground and keep you planted on the road. I could do 60-70mph on the wet highway with the awful side puddles on the expressway (u know what I'm talking about) and not once did my baby lose her grip on the road.

And now, cornering at higher speeds feels MUCH more comfortable and surefooted. Its really a night and day diffrence. If I am able to drop the car with the Eibachs, I think the ride will be 100% improved over the stock ride!

Nice wheels!!! I really like the boss 318's design. I just noticed you chose the Nankang-NSII I was considering for my 19's. Do you recommend them? it's nice to know they stick on wet roads. How about noise and comfort?

gotta be honest, if these didn't work out, I was gonna get your moda's! after months of searching, yours and my wheels were the two I liked most. And as i mentioned in an earlier post, although I'm running 20's, if they made my wheel in 19", I would have gotten the 19", even with the tire situation!

If you had gotten the Moda's i'd only ask that you give the appropriate prop's .... i.e. honorable mention in your signature, etc.
