NEW WHEEL FOR 240SX, 3.5" LIP!

Hey Nico,

I am posting on behalf of Underground Motorsports, McKinney Motorsports, and Motegi Wheels.

There has been some behind the scenes work being done on a new line of custom RWD offset wheels for the import scene.

McKinney and Underground have been lucky enough to be the first two shops to preview their new product line.

These wheels are only prototypes and have not been released to the public.

I am posting to get your feedback on these. This will determine whether they will be sold here in the states or not.

They are currently working on different powdercoated centers. The first wheel has a polished chrome lip with Gunmetal center...

But, the wheels are

18x9 +25 (225/35/18) Fronts 22 lbs18x10 +30 (295/35/18) Rears 24 lbs

If Motegi reads this thread and likes the feedback, then you will find yourself in a wide variety of RWD widths and offsets!

Please keep responding with your feedback. We also welcome any changes into the design, color, etc.

I have to admit those are some good looking wheels. I like the big lip and the color differences between the center and the lip. It looks really clean. Great job, hope to see them soon!JoshP.S. Any ideas on what pricing might be, even a guess, as of right now?

They look good but 18's are too big. I don't want anything bigger then 17. If they clear Z32 brakes on an S13 with a 5 lug swap then I just might have to give in.

Pricing has not been determined, don't ask, no idea. I do know that the customized wheels (custom powdercoated) will obviously be more expensive.

But, I feel confident it will be at a price comporable to 5Zigen and other tuner wheels.

BIG thumbs up! I like those a lot, a nice mix between like TE-37s, Typhoons, and old school big lip meshies: exactly the type of wheel I like.

Still though, and someone else said it as well, 18 is too big and we would definetly need 4 lug!

...and a price tag that compares to the 5Zigen FN10RC's (not sure if thats the right name, but you get the idea) would be nice.
