I've been searching for a 17inch wheel with a bolt pattern of 4X114.3. The stock offset for my s13 is 40mm. Can I work with this a little. Give or take a few mm. If all the stats on the wheels are right does that mean they will most likely fit?

Here's what I'm looking at/for now.

Rota P45r

Gram Lights 57f

Rota Torque

5zigen

Would these require any fitment issues on a lowered 91 hatch with stock wheels?Which would do the 240 justice.

Get coils first. 17x9's or better only. Rimtuck.com is your friend.

P45R's in 17x9+25 and 17x9.5+30. 235/40/17 & 255/40/17. No rolling. Oo look for similar sizes in other wheels.

That +25 up front may fit with some coils and not others. You might need a tiny spacer up front depending on what coilovers you get. I'm only talking, like 2-3mm spacer here...

But seriously... take your a** to http://www.rimtuck.com now.

Ok I checked rimtuck out. I don't want to buy coilovers at the moment. I have nice suspension.

So, from the topics posted, +15 is the best fitment on stock fenders, right? Im still learning on this whole offset thing, and it honestly escapes me for the most part. So, aside from the Rotas, are most rims easy to find in +15 or is that uncommon? Im going to be on the rim market before long myself. Oh, and I plan to run Stance GRs for my coilovers. Ive checked out Rimtuck, but for someone that just doesnt understand offset and all that, its not much help.

Sorry if Im thread jacking, and thanks in advance.

If you get the stock offsets and what not it'll fit.

Will it look appealiing? More than likely not a chance. But if that's the style you want no one's really going to stop you.

Why don't you hold off on buying wheels and wait until you learn to SEARCH so you can see why people are recommending that you get a better offset because you obviously don't understand the significance it has on the look of your car.

If you want stock offset and width then just keep the stock wheels! You'll look ridiculous trying some after market wheels on 4x4 status and major fender to wheel gap.

Hey I know what looks good. I just dont want to change my car to fit a set of wheels. It's already lowered. I know some 17x8.5 work emotion cr kai's would look insanely cool. I know what looks bad***. I love the wheels on the project s13 in scc. I'm just looking around at different offsets.

I want a 17in wheel with 4 lugs, I don't want a really wide wheel. Don't want to mess with my suspension. I just need advice on that. offset, width.....

Just going to say that sunken wheels will look like a giant heap of s***.

Why don't you want to roll your fenders? It really isn't that hard at all.

Anything below a 8.5 wide wheel with an offset higher than 20 will look like crap.

Too bad the same thing can't be said about the tire selection. I understand the purpose behind stretching tires but that is just retarted. He's prolly running an 11'' wide wheel with a tire that barely makes 8" of contact patch.

im sure the owner of that z wasn't going for "proper contact patch and racecar performance" when he chose his wheel/tire sizes. Im sure he was going for maximum awesome, which he nailed.

Amen to that. That's precisely why I made the recommendation that I gave above. A subtle stretch can look great and I believe that tires wider the 265 are pretty excessive on most 240's. The setup I posted above should fit pretty easy, be close to flush & provide good traction.

BTW, OP... get your head out of those magazines. They're about a good two years or more behind the forums on info anyways.

you're not deep in the game, you're just a hater - with a car that doesnt look like this.

Nahh. I just drive my car so bieng that low is not functional or possible with the places I have to drive. I mean I could slam my car so that the wheel lips kiss the fender but I would wind up losing my exhaust somewhere in the process.

Why are we all the sudden haters just because we don't like stretched tires.

Trust me, if I wanted that, I would have it!
