Might i add a suggestion, and i hope you dont take it the wrong way.

Your car looks pimp.

The only thing that bothers me is the black you have painted behind the headlights.

I would say paint back over that the original color or run into your closest vinyl shop and have some graphics made for the side.

In my opinion they weigh too heavy on the front of your car.

If you love it that way, too each their own. God bless.

You do realize Altezza style taillights were only cool for 1 year and only on Lexus IS's....right? Have someone make you LED taillights so you can get rid of those Altezza's. The front end isnt really meshing together. Something is off. I think its the combo of the openings in the grill, the style headlights and the black accents not meshing together. Most likely the grill, the way its shaped throws everything off. I'd go with the versaspeed grill. And what Decepticon would pic a Versa as its car mode?

other than that its ok. I dont understand customizing Versa's but whatever.

i heard the grill from china is real flimsy, i also heard that the company that makes those headlights arent very reputable.... i guess thats what happens when you buy cheap chinese knock-offs.... but hey, to each his own....

the grill doesnt support ANYTHING so it being filmsy is fine

yea the grill is pretty flimsy cus its i believe a single layer of fiber glass, but w/e its been on for about 7 months and nothings has gone wrong, the headlights arnt cheap, pretty expensive, and they look alot better then what everyone else is getting cus mine have white reflectors instead of yellow *gag* and they ran me $385 with shipping, the paint is done yet, im still looking to add more graphix across the side, i just have to make a stencil

Is there anything else you could get besides the Altezza tail lights? I was wondering if there were different types of tail lights for the V. And also I like the Angel Eyes, very nice and calm. How much do the bulbs cost too?

i thought those kind of taillights off ebay (im assuming those are where u got them) did not fit our cars properly? just wondering cuz they actially look good on ur car..i might look into them and the head lights....how did the head lights end up fitting??

Once again, you misinterpret what I'm saying. It's my opinion that mods like that are dumb. Am I calling people who are doing it dumb? No. Its my personal OPINION. Its not a fact or anything like that. It's my opinion that the mods are dumb, not the people.

Yes, I have a 240SX, but its not my DD. I have a full coilover suspension, GT2871R turbo on the SR20DET and a host of other mods. It's my fun/auto cross car that I take for a cruise or to a drag strip. My Versa is my DD and I dont plan on modifying it.

I dont know about lowering a Versa. Unless you get a better dampening rate or different springs that improve upon the stock ride. I cant complain about the stock ride. On a 200+ mile trip from PA to DE I had no complaints, and PA roads are horrible!

I just dont understand what the need is to improve the handling of a car that wasnt designed with any true sporting intentions. If anything, it will hurt your car in the long run with the possibility of damaging other related suspension components.

Anyway, any further discussion about this should either be in a dedicated thread about modifying Versa's or via PM, this isnt the thread for debating it.

Red Devil, I think most people here that modify their Versa's are just looking for a little more of a sport compact car not trying to create a track monster or cover spread.

Sport Compact: "a compact car that has been improved (by owner or manufacturer) to provide an elevated degree of vehicle performance over the base version of the car."

Your contradictions are interesting, though a given that you added coilovers and changed the engine on your 240sx from the stock 140hp SOHC KA24E to the 200+hp SR20DET which is not the original engine installed by Nissan.

But as you said the 240SX is your "fun/auto cross car that I take for a cruise or to a drag strip". that said in stock form it was just 18hp more then a Versa before your mods.

RussianBull is just being unique you should appreciate that, since someone has to take the lead in modding a Versa. Just as someone had to do a SR20 swap for you follow that trail to doing the same.
