Aww, you're living my dream, going from a wrecked 240 vert to a turbo 300z. I still drool over those cars when i see them. Looks good!

Is the controller inside the cabin missing for the SBC? What about the electronic box that connectors between the controller and the solenoid, is it there? It would probably be in the floor near the ECU or in behind the radio maybe. It doesn't appear to be there though as the solenoid is not plugged into anything. That red plug should have a harness going to the electronic brain module.I'd be surprised if you can boost over whatever the waste gates spring is, probably 7 psi or less as without the controller it'll default to spring setting. The solenoid does not store the info for boost settings so unhooking your battery will have no effect.Seeing as they plumbing is all there, you'd probably be better off just buying a whole new Blitz SBC-EBC and installing it. I bought a Blitz SBC-IDiii and love it.

Decent looking car...welcome!

be careful with whatever you're boosting, I can see the vacuum lines teed together obviously for a boost controller but you say you don't have the controller so might want to get that taken care of.

Ok thanks for the info. Ill do some more research on it and see what I can come up with. I've searched the car for the controller and other components but came up empty handed.

So would I just be better off removing it untill I can get a complete system?

Without looking over the EBC installation on how it was done and if the factory system was abandoned or incorporated, it's a tough call what to do other than say replace it with a new one. What boost pressures have you been hitting so far?

Good call I'll have to investigate more on this issue. The factory boost gauge reads about 8 psi.
