5 lug is better than 4 because you have more to choose from when you go to buy rims.....exhaust's are the easiest beginner mods to start with and they are fun......that's all my 240 has ATM is a cat-back

nope...just that s13's never came 5 lugged, they were all 4 lug. some previous owner had converted it from 4 to 5. those are s14 wheels.

for 250k that thing looks clean, I would start off with suspension and brakes before performance, and five lug will give you a better selection of wheels.

nope it wouldnt be stupid to lower it. Depends kinda on who you talk to, but you could go coilovers for more moneys or a strut spring route, not as low for less. and not every five lug size will fit the 5 lugs, correct me if i'm wrong but i believe its a 5x114.3 pattern. very very clean for the mileage

not at all lower is definitely better.get some coiloversss!

they're fairly easy to install too.

good luck with your future plans for the hatch

I wouldnt do anything to the engine right now except proper maintenance. An exhaust/intake won't give you much extra power but will bring a lot of attention from cops bc of how loud it is.

I would start with suspension first, get used to the cars handling, then go turbo or engine swap.

Good luck, tread around the forums and you should learn a lot about these great little cars.

i went over a month without checking/doing proper maintenance, ended up with gunk on my spark plugs and a spark plug wire being completely f*** so no spark to that cylinder. LOL

proper maintenance + (the right) suspension mods...win win situation

how much are newer(50k or less miles) stock engines? would you prefer getting a new engine before turbo or a turbo first
