That was a very biased statement, and not a fair one at all. I know people with CRX's that run 12's naturally aspirated, I'd like to see any 240SX do that! A CRX with a stock B16 motor will run 14's, a CRX with a stock ITR motor will run mid-13's.... so dont tell me VTEC struggles to beat the tercels and neons out there. Wonder why the Realtime ITR Team is dominating Speed Vision TCC. Its all about power to weight in Honda's. They are very light and nimble cars that handle nicely in stock form (CRX or ITR), and they are incredibly fun cars to drive (my CRX feels like a go-kart, I LOVE it). Yes, VTEC is an old technology, but I think its hella cool because I grew up on honda's and still smile once a strong VTEC cam like Toda or Jun crosses over and there is a 50HP jump from 5500 to 5600 :ylsuper I also find it impressive that a 1.8L engine "with the outdated VTEC" can produce a high/fast revving 200HP without aid from a turbo. Peace.
