Howdy,
So I'm going to be picking up a 2003 m45 pretty soon and wanted to know yalls inputs on wheel fitment, where to look for stuff, lip kits, dos and don'ts.

So far I have compiled things to do and search for:
2° timing adjustment
Custom exhaust, not sure if they have a bolt on or have to go custom.
Pbm coils
Z33 arms, I believe it was
Make sure fuel gauge works
Shift kit from Transgo

think I have a solid idea so far.
Now for the questions
It's going to be set for form and function
Getting xxr 526 wheels, not sure if 18 9-10 or 20 9-11, not sure the offset but wanna them pretty clean with minimal camber and try not to pull. Or will try different company, just really like that look.
Where do I find lip kits or full kits? Been looking but all I can find is stuff in Japan.
Anything I should know about the car before purchasing? What to look for, common problems.
Also what styles are considered more rare? Looking at 3 at the moment. Red/tan, green/tan and black/tan. Too many silver.

Thank you for your input will post pics and etc as soon as I pick her up and will post build.

Welcome and good luck with the upcoming purchase...

I'd be more concerned with the mileage and condition of your three choices... are they all 'high mileage' cars? You'll probably need to do some initial maintenance (fluid change, sensors, battery, suspension parts, etc).

those are nice M's...please post pix once you get up and running. :dblthumb:

Not sure on what yall consider high milage.
I've had Nissans from 90k to 400k, but I'll put up some info.
2004 green/tan 130k original owner never in accident and dealership maintained. Private seller
2004 black/tan 160k 2nd owner Clean title, no history. Private seller
2003 red/tan 115k no info. Used dealership.

That's all folks

Yes...Geos, first acknowledge that you hijacked someone's post and apologize for it. (It's a poor first impression.)
Next, provide any codes you have.

Silvia, I've had 2. Different colors & interior. (silver/Black & Blue/Tan. The 2004 green is the tops in my book of your options. You will appreciate the small changes from 03 to 04 to the audio system and the fuel gauge issue will have been resolved. The red/tan is out. Nissan's red paint always seems to oxidize so fast and that deep red will show scratches badly. Black is awful for showing scratches and waterspots too.

Plus the green will allow for swapping to cool green LEDs inside where you want and will match the theme. If the one you end up with has factory non-chrome wheels and you get a new set of wheels, I might be interested in taking the OWM ones off your hands. (The factory chrome wheels are awful, corrode externally & internally and cause leaks.)

If the green has a rear spoiler, it's a done deal.

I wish it did have the oem wing. Been looking for one but seems I'm better off making my own or purchasing one. The green one I'm looking at does have non chrome oem wheels, I'll contact ya when I pick up and fit my new ones.

Welcome to NICO !
As you already read - If you have an issue with your car, it's best to make a NEW POST. This way, your question isn't lost in the middle of an on-going thread and all members will see it. Peeps in here are lots like everywhere else. Their people skills vary, LOL so some are more harsh than others, but all are willing to help you if they can.

To your question ... I did a search and was able to find a thread about engine stall. Hope this helps. If not, just make your question into a new post so everyone can read it. Good luck to you.
