Hello fellow enthusiast. My name is Nico (really it is). I drive a 1990 NA Z32 in super white. Since I have bought the car a year ago I have fallen in love with it. Although there have been times where I wish I didn't buy the car. Specially when it dropped a cylinder then when I fixed that, there was a hesitation that followed it. Since then I have fixed the hesitation (due to a loose TPS) and now it drives amazingly. I am looking forward to the insight I will get from you all and also sharing my knowledge as well. Thanks.

Ps. How do I post pictures here?

IT WORKED! I know my plates read Virginia but... I have relocated to Orange County CA. I live in Orange right by the Angels stadium. Anyone know of any Z meets happening in the area or surrounding areas?

A little background about my Z. I picked her up in Virginia a year ago. It had front end damage to the passenger fender and bumper, and ran a little rough. I paid 1600 for it off of craigslist. I thought I got a pretty good deal. I took it to my mechanic to have it looked over and he said I needed to replace a few items. i.e upper rear a arms, front tension rods, fog light. I took care of those items right away. I also had a BG induction system clean done, which I will recommend to anyone here. They strap a machine to your throttle bodies. The machine dumps a chemical while your car is running into your upper heads fuel system and intakes. It cleans everything up top, valves and all. It's like seafoam but 10 times better.

Upgrades, Full headers back, Custom 2.5inch piping fully welded to magnaflow exhaust. Updated to new style injectors. Polished Intake tubes. HKS filter. HID lights. ADR wheels. Nothing too serious.

I love this platform so much I am looking for my second one. TT version this time but, would prefer to buy a shell and build a motor for it. I don't trust most turbo cars out there because it's so hard not to abuse them.

Looks like you have great plans! If you have the funds you should defiantly build your own engine. You will be much happier in the long run to start out with it to whatever specs make you happy as well as knowing exactly how the engine has been maintained. Always remember get handling mods first, 800 HP and 8 inch wide stock tires and suspension do not mix. That's my .02 though. You seem to be pretty knowledgeable already.

There are a ton of meets that happen in orange county. If my z was here I would be going to some of them. Let me know if you find one you want to go to, and have room for a passenger. :bigthumb:
