Hey guys I'm Sierra, my fiance(Lee) bought me this convertible. Right now we're in the proccess of painting it blue...

Here's what it looked like when we got it.

It had some damage to the drivers side finder and pop-up and a big hole in the back window in the top, but we have already replaced those. It runs GREAT . Just needs a new vavle cover gasket as most do.

Things we've done so far:

ripped out old carpetbought new carpet(not in yet)CD playerreplaced back window in topdoor swapnew trunk lid(no more wing )Painted under hood and trunk lidPainted inside trunk, door jams, and fenderssanded entire carI'm sure I'm forgeting something but that's it so far...

Things still to do:

new valve cover painted yellownew valve cover gasketput on bigger brakesinstall Skyline seatsrecover back seatinstall carpetreassymble carfinish painting entire car

We hope to have most of this done by the Nashville Drift Race, so hopfully I'll get to show it off.

Here's some pics of it's "right before paint" state:

I'll try to get more pics up soon of the paint progress. It's defently a work in progress, but it's gonna look sharp!!

Welcome to the forums!

Your off to a great start, and posting pics is always a plus around here.

Any plans for wheels/tires yet? What brakes are you planning on going with? I personally reccoment the z32 300zx brake swap, it does a great job stopping the vert.

Thanks for the warm welcome!!

My boyfriend has got some RSL Ricochets layin' around so we're gonna throw them on for now. Black 17'sTires: BFG G-Force KDW's As for brakes we're goin' with some off a J30. Not a huge difference, but bigger is always better.

And the color is well kinda custom...Dosen't really have a name so I just call it "medium midnight blue".But it sparkles and shines and that's really all that matters to me... what can I say I'm a girl. I like shiney things!!

Don't worry about the leg-humpers. If you stick around the vert forum, it won't be nearly as bad as general chat. Most of us in the vert forum have matured past adolescence.

Keep us posted!

On a side note, that's one ugly cat in your avatar... LOL.

Yeah I've been meaning to do that!! I just haven't wrote it down to post it yet. I only get to see my vert on the weekends (It's at the boyfriends). So hopfully I'll have more when I get to visit this w/e!!

hey guys im Lee (sierra's boyfriend) i was just updating the post herelast night i sanded some more got the car on jackstands and we should be able to spray it saturday

oh yeah i forgot to add i feel like ive been a member of this forum for over a year now ive beed on here everyday i have a s13 coupe and my brother has one and have numerous parts cars anyways i just got around to registering anyways im out

i forgot the camera but will get pics up this weekend
