Note: Just so you know these pics are takin' in our shop that doesn't have the best lighting. So there are only a few that show it's true color. We'll have some sunlight pics up later!!!

Here are some pics of the painting process, before clear.

Now here are some with the clear coat!! Can you say SHINEY!!!!!!

Now here are some of it starting to look like a real car again!!

Check out my AWESOME yellow valve cover!!! We clear coated it too!!!

Must focus, grasshopper!

Man, those last few pics gave me a headache, but from what I can tell it looks good. Just hope it's not really that blurry in real life, because that would really freak me out!

Just had a thought, if you are this big a fan of blue you should swap the interior with a blue interior out of a coupe.

Ok, it would look horrible probably, but it would be a lot of blue.

Love the colour.

Did you have trouble remounting door panels & rubbers, after you painted ?

Interior :You've gone this far, it is not too expensive to have your seats/door panels recovered to a colour combination that matches the car. I am doing mine opposite to you. My interior is done, now onto paint this winter ...

Ohhhh, these little gems become money pits don't they.

Belated welcome Sierra,The car is looking great. I like the blue. I don't think very many have gone that color scheme. Wait.. last year at the NOPI (who?) show in ATL..[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]Keep up the good work. And keep the pics coming (we like pictures .. ahuh.. ahuh ). The yellow valve cover is different. Hope you like cleaning the engine bay..lol. What other plans do you have for it (rims, engine mods..etc..)?

WOW lots of questions!!

~waitn4sno~ We didn't have any trouble remounting anything. It went back together fairly easy. And as of right now were not gonna do much to the interior just clean it up a bit. we did get the carpet in and both skyline seats. Lee did do a little moding on the back seat....check it out!!

He died the seat to match the front seats! Still got some cleaning to do but I think it looks great!!

~GoinTopless~ Thanks for the Welcome!! We do have very good taste in color don't we! Right now we're waiting on two more Ricochets. As for engine mods... I think we're gonna do just intake and some other stuff, but I leave that up to Lee he knows best engine wise!!!

~white90esex~ Thanks!! Like a said we're waiting on two more wheels and for suspension I may get Lee's off his car when ever he gets coilovers. But I like the stockish look. I'm not big on havin' it slammed but the 4WD look just won't cuttin' it.

Thanks for looking and all the questions!! Check out those seats!! Lee is my hero for saving my back seat!! Now I just need to get my cleaning powers a hold of it!!

If I remember correctly (been a while), Skyline GTS seats are the same as S14 at least for R32 and maybe R33.

I think you're right...the only difference is the inset is the lighter color. My s14 seats are all the same color grey.

Sierra... those aren't mine.. lol I wish.. I roll "baller on a budget" style. I tinted some clear coat and smoked mine out. I wanted those too, but kiddies always complain about.. eating.. and clothes.. medicine.. geesh. So Papa does it cheap style. I'm gonna post some pics of my ride tonight in an update.. If Dex is selling and you want to buy.. I'd say grab 'em while you can, cause now that he posted that he's selling - he'll be bombed with people wantin to buy. Ooop I spoke to soon Piper sneaks in with the lowballlllll... who's gonna sell first folks..lol

Piper.. it sounds like Dex may lose his while he's sleeping at night..lol, but honestly Sierra.. that is a good price (from either one) and they do look good on your color combo. Wish I had done as good a job as you guys did paintin yours. Keep it up though and keep us posted with pics..
