I'm putting a set of ComforTred Touring on my M35 this weekend. Just picked the car up last weekend and it has Nexen P3000 tires on it now that are just terrible. I can't wait to get these changed out.IlyaKol wrote:I think this is the route I'm going in a month or so.jgrafe wrote:Last year I put Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring tires on my M35x. I had the previous generation ComforTred tires on my Maxima. Love 'em. Quiet ahhhh. They're $215.72 ea at Sam's Club. I'm in Cincinnati and get a bit of snow, sleet, freezing rain, all the fun stuff. I'm not afraid of it.
I had to drive to see my GF in Northern VA this weekend and had to battle some slush/ice/snow in Philly/DC and my DWS's are in need of changing. Way too much hyrdoplaning at speeds that I normally don't feel a thing in.
Put these on yesterday - night and day difference. Quiet, comfortable, no trammeling, a 70k warranty and an $80 rebate - couldn't be happier.ria wrote: I'm putting a set of ComforTred Touring on my M35 this weekend. I have 2011 M37S with 245ZR40/20 and put the GMAX on about 5 weeks ago becasue the DWS was impossible to get. Initially I liked the tirs, great ride, seems to have good grip, but 2 things that annoy me are road noise and now that temps here in ATL have gotten down aroun 40 at night the tires flat spot bad. I even had the set replaced thinking one of the tires was that bad, but new set of 4 and on cold mornings you're looking at 2-4 miles to level out the flat spot. NExt time I'm spendng the extra $$ for Michelin, they have never done me wrong.acaman wrote:I was going to change my tires to the DWS, but the guy I deal with said they are out of stock and have been for a while. He suggested General G-Max AS-03 - Has anyone had any experience with this tire? It is about $ 25/tire less expensive.
