well if a reset ECU with fresh oil, new oil/air filters, with intake/fuel injector cleaning. and no bad spark plugs doesnt improve your milage... then something is really wrong... and i would love to know the fix... cause it might be something we all should check on our cars...
installing a ztube tomorrow and put in a fresh tank of gas. Resetting the ECU and we will see what happens. Wil report back soon!

Installed the z-tube, did an ECU reset and a seafoam fuel systems treatment. Seeing improved mpg thus far and will determine what the mileage is once I fill up.

I am also going to get another oil change. I think I got screwed b/c my old filter was not changed and I think they did not change the oil filter either.

I'd change out your spark plugs if you haven't.

Might think about cleaning the MAF...it could be reading and not throwing a code but it could be dirty. Get some CRC MAF cleaner. make sure you don't spray it too close. Stay at least 12in away.

at ~50K miles all the plugs I've ever pulled from a G35 are no longer gapped properly. Could be your cause.

The G35X does have a 3.5 FD gearing ratio. Most other 5ATs have 3.3 so you will by default get lower gas mileage than most 5AT, but you should be on par with other G35X's...~18-22 MPG seems pretty normal.

I will probably do that. Also, I am going to get new rear tires so I will include an oil change. Just dont think it was done properly. Last tank net 15.65 MPG. a touch better.

I have the same issue...

Have had my car for 3 years so I have a good feel for things. Mileage is 10-12, checked my dividing miles by actual gallons at fill. Idles the same, runs the same. I have a good feel for what it takes to break my tires loose and it seems to have the same power it always has. Sometimes I seem to smell unburnt fuel in the exhaust... Was this problem ever fixed? Simple ECU reset work?
