I like it, except the bulk should be trimmed down, and the 20" wheels...my god...wtf are they thinking....

18" will be more than adequate, thank you very much. I dunno...maybe it'll grow on me, but a twin turbo 3.5l v-6 sounds nice.-chet

we already have the skyline (g35), just not the gtr...and that's the concept car nissan has been presenting since last year.

Actually, as far as skylines are concerned, the G35 sedan is a skyline, the G35 coupe is the fairlady Z with the skyline front and new taillights. At least thats how i see it (no skyline coupes in Japan im pretty sure)

That prototype is at least a year old im pretty sure. yes its ugly, no nissan will not produce it like that. I found the concept Z to be incredibly ugly, they fixed almost every flaw i found in the pre production model. So i have hope ;)

the new GT-R motor will most likely be the VQ30DETT as thats what they use in JGTC right now with the racing GT-R's.

i'm just happy that's the concept. The only concept car i have ever liked is the '05 mustang concept (flame suit on!). since nissan is dropping the VQ in just about everything, i have a feeling it's going to find its way into the production model. Especially since the GT-R has traditionally shared the same series engine with the GTS-t, except being AWD drive. since the G35 is based on the skyline (or it is the skyline depending on your POV) and it uses the VQ series, I have a feeling that the RB will not make it's way into the new GT-R.

It's cool, the 20's need to go but it's not a bad looking car. I couldn't care less if it has an inline 6 or not, the V6 will be plenty sufficent and this whole keeping with the heritage thing is crap, it doesn't matter as long as it's a good car that performs well.

The thing is not tradition...but changing sparkplugs, oil filters, fuel filters, etc, etc...

A VERY good point, one I haven't heard before :D For most people though, it seems there is an obsession with sticking to the RB tradition.

I know..the RB isnt tradition at all...Look a lil deeper and u will be very surprised. I bet that most of the people dont even know that the skyline is widely used as a family car.

talking about the 4 door R34? :D

That seems to be nissans flavor.... make 3 different cars in this chasis type and change it.

R32,33,34 then R35 totally different but it shouldn't be named R35 should be named something else. Skyline blah blah not R35 its so screwy. I liked the idea of import companys using technology not displacement to make HP/TQ figures yah give me all no replacement for displacement. There isn't but there is a effective line i feel.

oye i wish S15 was over here... Just for all of us to feel out of place and USA market is ignorant. This is what the rest of the world is getting price wise.

SR20 TURBO BLUE BIRD SSS ATESA 4WD - $900replace transmission,timing belt 1991 NISSAN SKYLINE TYPE-M - $2500Needs some cleaning nice boost&fuel controllers89'NISSAN SILVIA S13 Q's AT -$800
