my feelings:

1. this is (as far as the picture goes) way old news. supposedly, the "final" shape of the new GT-R was to be displayed at this year's 37th Tokyo Motor Show (which i believe it never made it there)2. sure, the RB series is one hell of a line of motors. i'm sure Nissan can give us all big stupid grins w/the VQ's (or whatever finds its way into the next GT-R)3. that 2001 concept is "garbage pail kid" ugly4. from what i read somewhere, Japan gets some kinda VQ35DETT, we get some sorta N/A V8 (VK45DE?? or VK56DE??); when will they ever learn? must we stand outside of the gates of Nissan Corporate and shout "WE WANT TURBO!! WE WANT TURBO!!"?5. wtf is up with us not getting it until 2007-2009? we'll probably be pimpin hovercrafts or some ish by then...6. if anybody noticed, we've got the G35X now (as in AWD "Skyline" sedan); AWD drivetrain + coupe body + turbo juice... see where i'm going here? looks like the ground work is being laid down...

Actually the first GT-R engine was the S20 160hp 2.0L inline-6, way back in 1969, when Nissan aquired Prince who was the origional manufacturer of the Skyline since 1955, when it had a 94hp 1.5L 4-cyl. The FJ20's were used in the DR30 Skylines of the mid 80's. 94HP, anyone for tradition?

yeah right tt v8, i wish, that would make me nuts.

how about nissan disignine a 200-250 hp I4 turbo car rwd that weighs under 2000lbs, that would make me happier, with the options of recaro seats and stuff like evos, and wrxs. every one else gets the good stuff, we've gotten screwed around a little to much, i want a car that urns on a dime, and handles like a dream and is teh ultimate afforadable sports car, not an out rageous car that will bring a 50k price tag if and when it gets here. and in 2008 or 2009, hell itll be cheaper then to import an r34.

If i got a skyline it would be an r32, like a 90, oldschool looking like the veilside one. 1300+ hp ect, thats my way to have it,

Yeah, but I like the FJ20et so I threww it out. I was just trying to show that the RB engines weren't the only Skyline GTR engines.
