I'll agree that from the pics I see, the wheel gap looks proportional all around and looks fine. It isn't insane or too tall. It's "fine" and I agree 100% with you that lowering it even 1" would mean that all the little things you didn't have to worry about will now start to come bite you every time you get close to a curb etc. I know from my driving and parking habits, and routes I take that I would munch that bumper on the curb in less than 2 days. I wouldn't remember that my car is lowered and would run into sidewalk/curb/parking dividers every now and then and would piss myself off. Which is half the reason why I haven't lowered mine. The other half being cost - lowering with springs only would be cheaper but then I'd wear the stock struts out - something I already spent $300 replacing due to another reason. If I get a complete set I'm setting myself back a lot more $$$ which is not what I want to do. Hmm.... dilemma. :)

Haha wow you guys are mean. He doesn't want to lower his car, chill out.

It doesn't seem like you want to drop it BUT if you do want to drop it and the only thing keeping you from doing so is being afraid of scratching your bumper / curbing / driveway etc then:

1. Whether you're lowered or not you really shouldn't be parking your car to where its near the VERY front of the parking space near the curb / cement thing that stops the wheels. Just park with an even amount of space between your car and the the front / rear / end of the parking space all around
2. You shouldn't be relaxed about running over curbs and stuff when you're not lowered. Running over curbs is ALWAYS bad lol. Don't wanna mess up your wheels too!
3. Get wood for your driveway. Some people think it's silly but if you really want that look ( I don't think you do but just saying) then you gotta do what you gotta do.

 lol. If you see someone SLAMMED, chances are you will catch them driving slow most the time, quite the opposite of Japanese street racer. Can't go fast and be super low unless you're on a track.

I disagree big time lol. How can you say that? So many other elements of modding than suspension. BUT I say if you're gonna lower it, don't settle for springs. Coilovers or nothing at all. Full height adjustment, dampening, front camber depending, and the handling / body roll reduction is great! And not all coilovers are $900+. And THEN there's used coilovers.

ANDDD most of the time, scraping isn't as bad as you think. And you usually scrape underneath your bumper. I don't think our bumpers are polyurethane, but when I used to "curb" my bumper when I parked, the bumper actually slides over the curb and forces itself over the curb (almost like how poly material behaves). You won't crack your bumper or scratch it even unless you hit it head on which requires you to be really low. And this cannot be done with normal coilovers even on the lowest setting. I believe. Now if you take out your collars then you might be able to crack it.

Don't not want to lower your car because other people say its fine. And don't get springs because people tell you your wheel gap is horrendous either

Nice rims and steering wheel. As for the body height, you don't have to "slam" it to get a nice lower stance. I did a subtle lowering on my '11 Coupe with H&R springs (similar to Eibachs) to get rid of that awful (IMO) front wheel gap. It dropped about 1.5" front and 1" rear. Check out my post from a few months ago with before and after pics and review: h-r-springs-on-altima-coupe-before-afte ... 32309.html

The only time I scraped underneath was the first couple of days after install on speed bumps from taking them too fast. Haven't scraped since then, just have to take speed bumps a little slower than before (don't have to crawl over 'em). No issues with normal driveways, steeper ones just take more of an angle.

I learned a long time ago on a Harley forum I was on that whenever you post pics of your vehicle, it's pretty much an open invitation for critcism. You have to take the bad with the good. That's just the nature of the online beast. Personally, I would drop your's similar to mine, 'cause I didn't want mine looking like a Japanese street racer either. I also didn't want to worry about scraping all the time, which I don't.

Your coupe is pretty nice, dropped or not. Enjoy the ride...

:werd: Yap, I totally agree. And Yeah, its not just Scratching the bumper Im worried about, Its also money: whether you consider $200-300 nothing, its still a lot for me, Because Ive already spent a lot on the car itself. And its also I dont want make anymore more mods to it like that (springs, coils, Lowering/dropping, etc..) because I preffer not to change stuff from the original way it is, despite the fact that I changed the rims. And its also most importantly: Im not into that type of look, in the end its about what you like, whether Im the only 1 out of 250,000 people that dont like the look, I still dont like the look.....

Maby its just my computer making your avatar blank, or maby your avatar really should stay like that since you DONT own a coupe, but wish that you did by spending all your time trolling in the "coupe" section. Here, I think your a little lost, this is where you and your 2007 3.5 sedan are supposed to be:
