Posting these pics and info for anyone considering H&R lowering springs for their AC. I have a 2011 Altima Coupe 2.5s. Using H&R sport springs model #53070.3. H&R listed the drop on their site at 1.2" front and 1.2" rear. Actual drop I got on my car was appx. 1.5" front and appx, 1" rear, and it hasn't changed after a couple months of settling.

Had them installed at a shop I trust, and my mechanic recommended a front camber bolt kit also for more adjustment, so we installed the Eibach camber bolt kit model #5.81260K($25). After installation the alignment was way off front and rear and I had a four wheel alignment done back to factory specs. (Stock tires, wheels, and shocks).

A quick review: The ride is a little stiffer but still comfortable and handling seems to be a little better, but nothing major. I like how it feels and can take corners a little more aggresively than before. Watch out for speed bumps though. I scraped three within the first couple of days. Not used to taking speed bumps so slow since my other vehicle is a truck and have driven SUVs for years. Hell, my last sports car was a 69 Datsun 1600 Roadster way back in 1980. Havin' fun down low again!

Anyway, here are the pics. I think it looks a lot better now, the way it should from the factory.

Looks much better! How much did the shop charge to install them/how long did it take?

Thanks, your car looks pretty sharp also. Total charge for the installation including the alignment was about $400 (not including the springs, which were $218 from tirerack.com). Left the car for the day, he said it took about 3.5 hours total.

Good to see that it shows a significant difference even though the drop isn't very substantial. I imagine with Eibachs on my 2008 A/C that it will look a little lower - perfect ;)

I feel like all springs so far do not drop the front end enough.

The car leans back stock, and it still leans backward with Eibachs or H&R.

Front wheel fender-tire gap much larger than rear. That used to bother the hell out of me.

Don't know about that, my car is pretty level now with the H&Rs. Wasn't going for the forward lean look. Also, the new ride height is perfect for me. Didn't want to go any lower.

I agree just put eibachs on my car and noticed that. Easiest way to fix that is modify the front springs for a little more drop. May void there warranty but worth it to me

Hahah no kidding. I mean, you're already making the ride stiff by getting lowering springs, cutting a ring or two off won't harm much.

Thought about doing that with my eibachs. But I ended up taking them off due to a noise in the shock/spring on the front when making hard turns (backing out of the driveway per say.) I would imagine one coil would put you very close to the top of the tire....
