If a lot of members here are like me, we mostly get the stuff online. Best Buy is overpriced and had the single din version of the deck I wanted for $100 more than the double din version I bought off ebay.blkverssa7 wrote:wtff where the hell do you guys find this stuff i cant find s*** when i go to look for it
Yeah that was one of my turn offs from that unit when I went to look at it. I wanted one but changed my mind and got the AVN instead after reading a few reviews. Is, or was there really a long start up time when you turn on the car? As well, have you had any issues with it since you've had it? I asked this because the user reviews that I read, people made it seems as if Pioneer fails at making a proper unit when they made this AVIC F-series and since I was quite interested in this unit at first it piqued my curiosity to know.NODES wrote:I have the Pioneer F90BT in mine....wish it had a larger screen though....
I know the Eclipse AVN726E is. I don't know of the othersVersaMG08 wrote:Is that aftermarket stereo compatible with the convenience package (steering mount controls & stock BT)?
I looked at the website and its specs and didn't really find it.VersaMG08 wrote:Is that aftermarket stereo compatible with the convenience package (steering mount controls & stock BT)?
is yours the disc navigation? that is what turned me off with the one I looked at VS the Pioneerdee_tymz_sl wrote:You'll enjoy it... I did mine a few months back and it looks really nice in there... Eclipse AVN726E
The navigation in the unit came built in. There are no disc involved. I've seen some units that uses disc and that was a turn off me also.NODES wrote:is yours the disc navigation? that is what turned me off with the one I looked at VS the Pioneer
Saw you posted this back in July and was curious on whether you still have this or not and how its working. I saw this and fell in love but wanna know its worth the money before I purchase it. Also I am a complete noob here and just got my '09 versa a few months ago. So I'm wondering if I was to get the bluetooth version will I need the factory bluetooth setup or can it run right out the box. Also, as I just got this car and haven't done anything to it, I was hoping for maybe a short tutorial on how you put it in. saw you said something bout trimming a piece and grounding some wire.Andries wrote:Hey everyone - Next part of my car was to start working on the audio system. Well I accomplished that yesterday.
I went out and picked the following radio:

It's a no-name - cheap-o touchscreen dvd player
I was blown away by how cheap, yet good this radio is.
My previous setup was just a stock basic radio.
Removed the radio - Took the brackets off stock radio - put them on the new one...looks good.
It said it was double din - but I still needed to dremel about 5cm from the bottom for it to fit
You can just ground the "brown" parking brake wire and this one will work while driving ***I do not condone watching dvd's while driving, or doing this*** but the option is there.
try finding a F900 or F90BT made by pioneer they are very cheap in price now. Bluetooth. dvd, ipod, gps all in one...excellent unit.anthony870 wrote:
