I've been doing a lot of research.. and finally went buying Eclipse avn726e I can't wait until I get it. I think this model has the most complete software inside of it. One of the reason I bought it, is that It support a2dp protocol for bluetooth; my iphone 3gs will be able to stream music to that device

For those insterested, I ordered it from Pacific Stereo @ 699$ US.It's the less expensive one I found so far.

This man is by far one of the smartest on here, Avn726e is one of the best radios ever made, Ipod control is the greatest, however great 3d nav, 5v preout x3, built in bluetooth, and 3 year dealer installed warranty. I dont know if any of you have ever had an eclipse unit but it you have a chance take a look at the harnesses they are at least twice the length of other units harnesses for a reason. They are ment to outlast your car. Fujitsu Ten is Brilliant and quite the inovative company.

I love the BT streaming capabilities on the Eclipse AVN726E unit. Like kartracer90 said Fujitsu Ten is brilliant and I truly agree. I've stopped burning cds and even stop using the usb functions for music. I use the HU to control the music from my BlackBerry Bold and let me tell you it's amazing. People are stunned whenever they come into my car and see that I am able to play the songs from my phone without having it connected with wires. And the BT calling just just as great also.

I agree, I couldn't explain this better! Only shame that this unit is now discontinued by Eclipse.

Oh I didn't even know that but then again all those companies do that as they make newer models to be released. I haven't been on there site in a while or on here either so I haven't been following up. Is there another that is replacing it?

Andries wrote:Hey everyone - Next part of my car was to start working on the audio system. Well I accomplished that yesterday.

I went out and picked the following radio:

http://www.walmart.com/catalog...78694

It's a no-name - cheap-o touchscreen dvd player

I was blown away by how cheap, yet good this radio is.

My previous setup was just a stock basic radio.

Removed the radio - Took the brackets off stock radio - put them on the new one...looks good.

It said it was double din - but I still needed to dremel about 5cm from the bottom for it to fit

You can just ground the "brown" parking brake wire and this one will work while driving ***I do not condone watching dvd's while driving, or doing this*** but the option is there.
Hey,

I just bought a Boss BV9560B and put it in tonight. this thing is sweet. you can find it here.

http://www.amazon.com/Boss-BV9...r=1-8

I also used the old brackets off stock radio and grounded the parking brake wire, which is pink on this unit, mainly because i didnt know where else to wire it to
