New pistons or a rebuild kit???

you should really run a hone through it. get a dingle ball hone. you can rent them at tool rental places for pretty cheap. your rings will be able to seat properly and you will have done it "right"
This might be nooby :frown: , but what size would i get, do i just measure the diameter of the cylinders and buy w/e digle ball hone comes close or what?? Also I'll still be able to use the stock bore pistons right??

yes stock bore pistons. and i think its 3.5" hone you get. all it does is take the glaze off of the cylinder walls. look on youtube for how to do it. thats how i learned. and its simple. but ya just do a measurement of the cylinder and the get a hone in that size.

Well do and thanks for all the help guys... Well next week is when I get the rebuild kit and the 5 speed swap things together so I should get a build thread in a week... Can't wait yay lol :laugh:
