well then if u plan on expanding youre build afterwards then i can understand the need for larger injectors. Also im not sure what the lower deck will stand up to stock. I said earlier i had a friend beating the piss out of his twin cam with a 60-1 and Megasquirt, and i mean beating by like 8 grand every gear. i dont know what hes making but if he told me 400 id believe him

Yea I'm going to rebuild it. But for now I'm looking for a shop to get the block decked and honed. I also want to get the head cleaned up too.

when u have the head and block machined, ask the machine shop to document how much they take off of each one, then add the 2 values together and try to order a head gasket thats as close to the value u come up with. I.E. .010 off the block + .010 of the head .020 total (.5mm) so get a head gasket .5mm or .020 thicker than stock

Will do thanks for the heads up. But damn NJ it sucks i don't know any shops that do machine work. IDK if Import Intelligence does it or not, its only one hour away from where i live. Im going to give them a call tomorrow.

look in the phone book, i would think you would be able to find an automotive machine shop. if not, what the closest community college or technical university. ive used the college i attend now (before i enrolled) to do my machine work. i went in and asked to speak to the machining tool instructor. he said he would be happy to do it for me so they may do the same for u.

Well I'll check the phone book but the closest community college to me is BCC, Burlington County College. I went there last semester but I pretty sure they don't have a machine shop or anything with automotive area. But then there is a high school that has a automotive course, so there should be a machining tool instructor there. I'll have to check up on that later this week.

I might run something either like this:
http://www.compturbo.com/products/index ... duct=CT355
or the CT50. Which is .48 T3 turbine.

Triple ball bearing is what i plan on getting, with .5 over sized valves, that's like instant boost!! :dance

I always love to see a well done KA-T. people around here in my town are die hard "cant spell KA-boom without KA" and i strongly disagree with that. Hell if a D series honda motor can pull its own weight i kno a KA can make power lol

Well I am going to take my time with this and i am going to buy good quality parts, even if i have to save up like a s*** load of cash, but ill do it. I should be able to get to all this starting either next week or the week after. I gotta get a 5spd trans and all the 5 spd swap things, so i can do it all at once. Then after all that is the suspension, then some power to the engine and then idk what else yet lol.

Ill go with breaks before drivetrain. Cause i can't work on the drivetrain if i have nothing to stop it with. LOL. Also is D-Max a good brand for suspension?? Its either going to be that or Stance or Apexi.

Well I have ordered the rebuild kit, should be here by end of next week. Also I'm still waiting for the guy to ship out my 5 speed trans and all the things for the 5 speed swap.

Well I ended up ordering from ebay, read on ka-t.org that there was one seller that sells quality rebuild kit:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/91-94-2- ... ccessories
And ^ kit will be fine for my power goals. Also I'm just going to clean the block and the head, not going to get it decked or honed... Unfortunately

nice same pistons and rings i got. im sure it will work fine. i ended up reusing my timing kit though. i wish i would have bought that kit. i did know that my ringlands were cracked..

you should really run a hone through it. get a dingle ball hone. you can rent them at tool rental places for pretty cheap. your rings will be able to seat properly and you will have done it "right"
