Yeah I love mine... especially now that I have found some wheels for it that will make it look even better. I'm still rollin on hubcaps. And I need to get tinted too, but I have a buddy that does the tinting for alot of the high end dealers in oakville, so he is going to take care of that for me.

As for problems... haven't had many, and they few I have had, the dealership has taken care of without issue. I had a fuel pressure regulator problem that was replaced under warranty, and in the process of them replacing that some of the clips that hold the rear seat cusion down were broken, and those were also replaced no problem by the dealer. I get excellent service there. And yes, I take it there for all of the servicing.

Hey cool, Alot of people have had problems with the fuel pump. How did you know you had a problem with it?So far, I haven't had to take it in for anything, just the regular oil changes (I've only had 3 so far). They are pretty nice at Plaza. So far it's been a good experience.

I was wondering if it was a common thing, because when I called the dealer to report it, I had only just begun to describe it to the service person and they finished my sentence for me lol. I knew because it was cranking excessively. Sometimes it would take almost 10 seconds of cranking to start. In a car that was only 2 months old at the time, I figured something was up.

Oh, so it would take longer to start the car (as in turn the key)? I don't really know much about cars so I have no idea!?

Yeah like when you turn the key to start it the engine turns over a few times before the car actually turns on and idles, mine would just keep turning over because there wasn't enough fuel pressure.

Oh okay. Thanks. I understand what that is now, lol. I really don't know too much about the different parts and what they do. But I know I haven't had that problem yet.Did you read my previous posts about the bumper protector. What do you think? Do you think I should get it?

Yeah, I saw it, and I personally think it looks pretty cool, especially with your dark tint and hood deflector. I am a big fan of cars with black trim pieces.

I didn't end up buy it because it wasn't the design I liked. Others posted pictures of their protector and it had the contour lines on it to match the inside of the trunk. The one at the dealer was simply plain black, flat, no design. I told them I would think about it. They can always get another one in for me if I change my mind. Maybe in the future.

I bought one today at Courtesy Parts for $29.00, total including shipping is $37.95 This one is the textured bumper protector so it doesn't look all plain. I saw a little scratch on the bumper and figured that I ought to get one so it doesn't get worse. My dad recommended I get one so I followed the advice.

I wanted the textured one as well. The dealership one is plain, no design on it. And its just under $50. Kind of expensive!

Ya but how much is shipping to Canada, and then customs/duty fees, plus the high exchange rate!I'll just wait until Christmas and ask for that as one of my gifts, lol. Thanks for the help though and don't forget to post a picture of what it looks like on.

Took some pics of my interior today. Added the final touch after receiving my new Hello Kitty headrests from Ebay. Hello Kitty floor mats, neck rests, brake cover, shifter cover, kleenex box cover, and seatbelt covers. Enjoy!

Does your V have keyless entry and alarm? I looked at your ignition and you have to stick the key to start. I thought SL's have keyless start?

I have keyless entry and an SL model. Canadian Models (at least in Ontario) do not have i-keys. That was not an option.I do have to put the key in to turn the ignition, but I have keyless entry. No alarm. Just the integrated chip in the key that does not allow a regular key to start the Versa. When I need a new key I have to get it made with a chip in it from the dealer. I got an id tag with one set of keys.

No alarm? I'd save up and get one to protect your investment. The garage can only do so much to protect the car from theft. Weird how Nissan likes to give Canada the shaft with certain features same with the US.

I told her to get a clear bra but she's happy with that I guess.

As for the alarm, I don't really care about getting one. No one can start it without the chip, but perhaps once the warranty expires I'll get a remote starter w/ alarm. For now, it's okay. I always park in the garage.Did your Versa come with an alarm from the dealer?

Really. Lucky. Why do Canadian models not offer that? I would have paid for them to install it for me. I wouldn't mind a nice remote start in the future that has an alarm built into it. My sister in law has a nice remote/alarm in one. Her keyfob has a picture of a car and if someone were to try to open a door it shows which door is being touched. It is sweet, but it also cost a pretty penny. Most likely down the road I'll get one. I don't really need a remote start since I park in the garage but an alarm would be good. My younger brother installed one on his car, he could always install it on mine.

If you have the time while in Buffalo NY, go to a Best Buy and check out their Viper alarms. They have some decent stuff...

Okay I'll take a look the next time I go there for school. This would also be something to put on my Christmas list

If you want an alarm I highly recommend either East Hamilton Radio or Gain Mobile Electronics (they have one location at the corner of Nebo and 53 and one on Centennial Parkway). Although, truth be told, you have full coverage insurance for a reason, and the discount you would get from having an alarm would be very very minimal, if you even got one at all. I know I never got a discount for having an alarm on my Civic. Also, what good is an alarm if your not around to do something about it? How many times do they go off from a slight bump or you hit the button by accident? And how many people pay attention. My honda got broken into at Lime Ridge mall and I come out to find it sitting there with the alarm going off, noone around.

Remote start though, is awesome.

Yes this is very true, not many people look around when they hear an alarm. I actually do not really need an alarm, but in the future I wouldn't mind getting a nice remote start that comes with an alarm.I had a remote start on my previous car and it was great. However, I don't want to add one to my V in the off chance that it could void my warranty. I purchased my remote start for my Accent at Futureshop on Boxing day and it came with free installation. It was a good price and they did a great job installing it.

Hey, just an observation... Does your keyless entry remote have a red button? From what I understand, almost all cars now have integrated alarm systems. In my case, I have an additional alarm with opened doors detector etc., but the dealership also gave me 2 remotes that are actually the original ones that came with the car, because I got one with keyless entry, just like yours...

When I pressed the red button in the original remotes, the car horn started making noise, just like an alarm. I think that alarm is activated only when the car is really really forced, like when trying to start the engine with a generic key.

If I'm right, then you do have an alarm that only sounds when necessary, and not with every noise like mine... That's what I've understood from looking at others new cars as well...
