Yes I have that button. It is simply a panic alarm. It's good if you think someone is following you in a parking lot you can blast the horn. But it is not an alarm in the sense that if someone tries to break in it will go off. It is simply a panic alarm. My Versa did not come with an integrated alarm. I'm pretty sure from the sounds of it your red button is the same thing - a panic alarm.
