the hub is geniune momo. i can show you the box. i got that off cardomain shop. the steering wheel is just put together well from someone in japan and shipped over to america.

I got a lot of enjoyment out of this thread, and its kinda relavent to what I was gonna ask, so i figured i'd bump it and not let it die. i just wanted to prove that I did search first. lol...

Anyway, when talking about the quality of an aftermarket wheel, what exactly makes a good quality wheel? I mean, are poor quality wheels hard to turn, or is it mainly just in the feel of the wheel? I want a hard steering wheel, not leather or anything like that. My stock wheel gets sticky if its hot and my hand is on it too long, and then my hand stays sticky for a while after.

what do you guys think about a S15 steering wheel?do you thing its worth the 300 they asking on ebay?i think it looks sweet! but the cost is whats stopping me from getting one.

Actually I have a question, I got one of those Nimso wheels from ebay heh, I dont care it looks nice and I like how it feels, I havent installed it yet though heh. Well anyways, I dont have a hub yet and Im lookin at the MR Quick release hub, am I gonna need like a momo hub too or no?

that hub replaces a momo... and its removable

just make sure it clicks

btw i like the fake wheel... i might get one if they arent too big in diam. someone measure it!

diameter= 12 inches. i just measured it right now.p.s. i'm amazed this thread is still here. and also i don't care what you guys say it's easily one of the best steering wheel's i've ever driven with. it's very small, very nice looking, very nice feeling. it's like driving one of those GT4 steering wheels except alot better because you control a real car.

I duno why but I felt compelled to post a pic of my nismo wheel and old school nismo button ( just scored button a few weeks ago ). Need to stop slackin and get the nismo hub now, my stock leather one has lots of small chips in it.
