So i just got my brand new Nismo steering wheel installed two days ago, figured i would post it on here. it looks awesome, although the pic qaulity is sup par because i have a crappy camera. I also got a Momo hub adapter to put it in. it's a lot smaller than stock and a lot prettier. you might not be able to see the horn button but the middle of it says "Nismo" with the red "O"

i had the Nissan bodyshop guys at the dealer order me one from Cali. I sometimes work with them there at the shop so they can sometimes connect me. the wheel was 40 and the hub was 35 plus shipping and tax. so it was 82 altogether

This looks pretty similar. I don't think thats a Nismo dude, you wouldnt be paying $40 if it was real.

yeah 40 for a nismo wheel sounds a little to good to be true considering how much a nismo radiator cap costs

on a side note, i have a nismo hub, and i can't find a damn thing for it (that's not expensive)

Thats what mine looks like, except I have a slightly older Nimso horn button. I bought mine off a guy in Japan, cost be about 200 w/ shipping.

Nobodys trying to mean, but that thing is not an authentic nismo... And why would 'Nissan Performance Department' sell USED wheels? Im sorry, not trying to be rude, its just thing is a fake... kinda like those "first ever BRIDE steering wheels!!!1!1!"

that wheel is definately not authentic, if you look through the 2004 and 2005 japanese catalog, you wont see that design anywhere, its just the ebay version with a nismo button instead of the bride ones they sometimes have.

High five to loveless!

Man, I know two things.. you bought that from Nissan, somebody was lying to you when they told you they were Nissan... or if you think you can pass off replicas as authentics on this board, we will bust you. :-p Also, you're only doing yourself a disservice by knowingly purchasing something authentic. True Bride seats, Nismo/Nardi/Momo wheels, etc. are all engineering for performance and comfort, and most of all safety.

skydragon that doesnt look real either lol but i cant confirm. that sort of looks like this one http://www.raretrick.com/store...e.jpg but notice the design is a little different but i may be wrong it might be discontinued or something.

nismo steering wheels dont feel any better than stock though i dont really like their spoke design http://www.raretrick.com/store...l.jpg if i really just want the nismo logo id just get a horn.

the oem steering wheel is actually pretty nice compared to like hondas with the giant 4 spoke with air bag lol. everytime i drive my moms car or some of my friends cars i just laugh because it looks so goofy.

probably change mine later to something old school

Yeah... Ive had plans for a Nardi wheel for the past year... not happening yet... theres always something better that I want... like coilovers, sways, 2way, etc... Ahh one day... My stock steering wheel is ugly too, its got caked up finger-grease and dirt all over it from the previous owner... I dont even want to know... I just ignore it and pretend like theres no possibility of a previous owner having "Sticky palms" and then driving...

Hey, at least you didn't get had for $400 for that thing. $40 is a good deal for ANY steering wheel. Consider yourself lucky.

$400 for a steering wheel? I don't understand... Help me understand.

Does it really feel that much better then any other steering wheel? Is it the name? Brand?Does it last longer?Does it have a Coke dispenser attached to it? What?

Well whatever, fake or real, it's a nice steering wheel.

So long as it holds up well, it was a good buy for $40. Can't argue with that.

I want this:

Top Secret Personal wheel - $465

That'll have to wait for a LOOOONG time though, many better uses of $465 for the time being.

Still not a bad deal.. although I'd be pissed if a Nissan dealership sold me a copy.

i kinda want an after market steering wheel. i would never pay over 200 for one. but an advantage of the aftermarket steering wheel is that they are generally pretty light and the stock steering wheel is heavy and ulgy
