no! we must not let this thread die, it would be like the dude who said yeah I'm a street racer... or the sti at 90mph then through someone's garage thread... install nitrious by drilling holes on your s2000 valve cover thread... flush oil in your srt engine by running it without any thread

yeah this could be one of those

i dont think these guys were necissarily trying to "talk ****" on you, or dis you, but try and get out the simple straight facts, and most of them agreed, authentic or not, its a good deal, for a good looking wheel, and what of it they were dogging on you was just harmless fun trying not to let the thread die, so all i have to say is....

bump:)

The buckskin one looks nice, and yes this thread will live forever. I have a nice leather MOMO wheel and you get what you pay for this thread is a lesson... I love my MOMO.

I really want a Nardi... Theyre like the quality of Momo wheels, just old school-sexy. I personally dont like the look of the new-style momo wheels though. That top Nismo wheel doesnt look bad though. I just ebayed a Razo shiftknob... I guess we'll see if its real or not.. it was 'real price' minus a few, but only time will tell..

nardi cla....i. i dont want to let the world know haha. i prefer letting everyone do what they like instead of giving them ideas. nardi is not for quality its for style. the price is crazy

some momos are pretty jdm looking though. but with nardi ur looking at paying easily 250+. i dont like razo shift knobs too much though.

Although it's funny, I really like Grant's wheels, even though they're super cheap. 2BN_S13 has one, and it's a great wheel.

Does grant have any wheels without a brand on them? Thats a nice small size? That is plain black with a three silver spokes? Hmm.. Im still looking into personal wheels too... even though that Bride wheel on ebay is tempting... :-p jking

I used to have the smallest 3 spoke black on black grant wheel, and i can tell you the difference between that fake leather and my momo's real leather is night and day. The grant also used to get all mushy when left in the sun lol. MOMO's and personals have grooves in all the right places whereas grants are circular all the way around.

get a used momo

Well all i will say about grant is that that is the steering wheel i used to have, and i did not like it at all. and yes, it was completely genuine. but still i disliked it, and the new steering wheel i have, regardless of your comments on it, is by far and away better, it's also smaller and actually HAS a horn button, unlike my former grant. and the momo hub adapter i got looks a lot cooler too.

Why grant...

go to autozone and right next tot he grant wheels, for about $5 difference, you will find the most popular aftermarket brand steering wheel...APCrap

I found a momo"corse" steering wheel on ebay for like 10 bucks... so i think I might get it... real or not, it looks pretty nice and has the momo logo on the horn, so...

plus it'll go good w/my momo sphere shift knob on my saturn...

Its not that people were dissing your wheel, its a great buy, esp with the hub, but its the fact that there ARE people who paid 400 dollars for their Nismo wheels, and its annoying to have people claim that their fakes are real Nismos, simply because they ARENT the same quality. Not saying yours is poor quality, just not Nismo quality.

I might hit up some junkyards today and see what kind of steering wheels I can find. Mine is worn and gross from past owners, and it needs to be replaced... but I also need those Tanabe DDs...

yeah nardi isnt jdm but its used in japan like a lot of european coilovers are used there and we all know italy makes some of the nicest leathers.

dont think im going to get a new steeringwheel soon i have probably one of the nicest oem ones left. no scratches or wear i was so amazed.

i bought the car used after some years and the guy installed a new steering wheel in the car. he must've taken out the airbag and horn.
