Yeah when I take off and when I'm idling I tend to get some rattles from the busted a** defroster vent and from the rear deck . I need to invest in some foam at Wal-Mart and glue it to some of the rear deck to keep the noise down. If I could find a defrost vent I would replace mine, it's glued together cuz' it was in like 3 pieces lol.

I've been using cusco solid mounts for a bout 2 years now. The vibration has gone down quite a bit since installing them, but you still feel some of it all the time. I've noticed that a lot of the noise that comes with it isn't really the chassis, but rather pieces of random crap that are loose or undampened.

I site an example: there is a large solid piece of black plastic near the front upper part of the firewall that (I believe) is there to direct hot air to the windshield on the defrost setting. Mine has cracked in 3 places, and so as the engine went through its revs different parts would oscillate and make that annoying a** rattling noise. I solved this by just adding black silicon calk to weight it down(dampening).

if you slowly rev the engine and listen carefully you can find and remove/lock down/dampen most of the crap thats rattling, it makes solid mounts much more bearable.
