First of all I have to apologize for not posting for a while.. Grad school is kicking my a$s. Buddy just got a new lens for his slr so we decided to take a few shots of the rides. Since the last time I’ve posted, I’ve added the injen intake, as well as headlight tint ala 2brian0’s style. I hope you don’t mind the style infringement man.. but it really makes the darker rides look so much more aggressive . Next up.. drop.. especially after LBC’s anti-rubbing assurances. Summer job.. here I come!

One of his shots..for variety :P

Great photos, and nice.. another Gainesville member!

I've only seen a couple A/Cs around town, and that's without a doubt the nicest one!

Thanks guys. I would love to submit some to the calender, but am gonna try my best to get lowered and retake some of these for it. Not quite sure if they have space for a 4x4 category in there. I have no idea what lens he used Tommy, only that he nearly fell out of his bloody car trying to catch a detail of the rolling wheel ..lol. The tint is Bat's standard Smoked 6/10 business and like everyone else here I can't wait for a clean (possible mesh) grill to come out Mr_Coupe . Also debating between the lip or complete body kit...but springs first! All your rides look SO much hostile lowered.

Hey man please ask him what kind of camera and lens hes using for that... it may be annoying, but im sure he will be happy that someone is so interested in taking pictures as good as he did! I look at last years calendar and then i look at these shots... it makes me need new unda-pants! I cant wait.. im trying to find a deal on a d40 or a rebel xti and it will make it all worth it if i can take some pictures of my car like this... Im envisioning a 24"x36" print ina nice double matted black shadowbox...

Just got it. Its a Canon Rebel XTi, with EF-S 17-85mm f4/5.6 IS USM.

I would either get the XTi or splurge for the new XSi being released next week. Theres going to be a lot of of fun additions to that one

thats what i thought. The rebels always got that slight underexposure. I personally thinks it makes pics look better. I usually photoshop it and mess with the contrast/brightness anyway. Great shots man, what kind of rims are those?

How do you get such a high quality shot while the car is moving... some are saying its photoshop more than the camera... are you saying my sd750 can take a moving picture that could look like those? if so... im heading out right now!

A good DSLR and a good lens.

Simple as that.

Yeah, with masks in photoshop you can do this but you have more control and the changes are reversible, since you apply the mask on another copied layer instead of the original image.

Some settings on DSLR cameras can give the exact same effect without having to use photoshop to touch it up.

It all depends on the lens used and the mode.
