did you cut those headlight overlays to match the contour of the inside? The ones on bat's site look like they cover the entire thing. thanks. Car looks wicked btw.

Nice lookin car dude. Did you drop the A/C or you can't because it'll rub? The GTI is HOT!!! I Know it's a 1.8T right? It has to be or else it's not worth fixin up. I have a MK3 Jetta VR6 Turbo.

Since the last time I’ve posted, I’ve added the injen intake, as well as headlight tint ala 2brian0’s style. I hope you don’t mind the style infringement man.. but it really makes the darker rides look so much more aggressive . Next up.. drop.. especially after LBC’s anti-rubbing assurances. Summer job.. here I come!

One of his shots..for variety :P

Those pics are bad *** man. Nice wheels, very agressive. Once you lower it, it'll look even better

PS-We gotta get a Florida meet/photoshoot together sometime

I took the pics.

To take these kinda shots (read rolling shots) you have to shoot in manual mode. I ramp up the fstop to 22 or so and lower the iso to 100 and set the exposure appropriatly. You want the shutter to stay open long enough to get the car in motion, but not out of focus. Its tricky but once your dialed in you can shoot away. The image stabilization in the lens really helps to keep it crisp, sometimes you have to pan as well. They are hard to shoot but very fun.

And to the MK3, sick ride whats it run?

Oh, and heres the best one of mine.

Apologies for the post above... I should learn to sign off a friend's pc after using it. The wheels are 18x9 Black Chrome Saleen S-styles.. LBC, your sd750 should be able to do rolling shots, albeit not as crisply/dynamically as an slr. You just have to mess with the exposure settings manually. The rest is messing with masks, vignetting, brightness/contrast and other filters, ala Mcheddadi. I'm down for a Fl coupe meet D-Roll, its past due methinks...and thanks again for all the comments guys

I ran the dyno at 424 HP and 394 FT bls of Trq. I ran the track twice since I installed the setup. I ran it first at 11 PSI and the track time was 13.02 then I ran again a week later after some software tuning and some other stuff and raised the PSI to 18 . The second run at 18 PSI was a 10.93. I'm working on more engine work with a company called Renner Motor Sports to raise the PSI above 20. It will be better when I'm done with the current engine work.
