Alright we start at the top, I installed my engine around a month ago. It started and ran, go figure. I didnt have a boost gauge on it at first and it ran pretty bad but it did run. no leaks and no real bad issues with it other than it running poorly. looked around to see what it might be and decided it had to be a boost leak. tightened all of my clamp and it made it run slightly better. I am now stuck with it running alright down low and when it is in high rpm's but if i run it wot it pops and bangs and it just wont go anywhere. sometimes the boost spikes really high and it will try to spool a lot spikes high as in like 12-15psi. i dont know if maybe i should try to disconnect something or eliminate something from the engine. working on a good boost leak tester at the moment cuz the tire valves i got dont work with my air compressor for some reason so im looking for better ones than the ones they sell at wal-mart. any ideas as to what to check would be nice.

it has the CA18DET mafs on it still and its connected and wired properly. I cant figure out what it is Im going to go to an import shop that i was told deals with boosted engines a lot and see what they think is up with it maybe get some ideas from them. anything anybody could think of for me to check and whatnot would be helpful.
