Hi all! I am a recent owner of a Slate Gray 2010 Altima Coupe 2.5S. I love this car! I did a lot of research before buying it, and it is lightyears ahead of my past rides, which were mostly 4x4s. Many hours turning a wrench, so I bring some knowledge...but will have mostly questions for a while.

No mods yet, but I am looking at a rear deck spoiler. I dig the smooth lines of the rear, though, and haven't found a spoiler I like enough to drill holes in my new car.

I would post a pic, but don't see an easy way how.

I have put yellow fogs on, removed the OEM sunroof wind visor, and shaved the back. That's about all I've done so far...the car is already perfect enough!

Thanks! It took me a while to find one in this color optioned just right. I did have to replace the fender cover on the driver's side already, but it was a 20 minute easy fix with an Ebay Special. I have this idea about going around the tail lights with black paint, like trim. I'll post some pics if it turns out ok.

I have the same color. I did tint my taillights though. Not sure what other taillight options are out there right now.

WOW, that is gorgeous! It almost looks like a cross between a 350Z and a 240SX. I wouldn't change a thing. Honestly, that is a really sharp car. I don't think I've ever seen that color before on an Altima.

It is Metallic Slate Gray, which I think was out for 2010-2012. I have only seen it on the 370Z, and maybe a Titan. I'm sure they put it on other stuff, but they nixed it for 2013.

The options I was looking for were:
Black leather interior
Sunroof
4 cylinder with auto (CVT)
Gray
No spoiler
Bose without NAV

I was actually looking at all years, but preferred the 4.5 gen. Glad I held out, because this one is it. I was quite pleased when I saw the 'reliability poll' on the other thread because the 2010's are a 'good year'. It only had 25,000 miles on it when I bought it last year, which was way low compared to other coupes. It has almost 30k now.

I'll get the transmission done at 50-60k like everyone recommends, and then just drive it forever. After a few years it may get dated, and then I can shop for some body kits. I want to keep it stock mechanically, though.

I did the paint, and you can barely tell I did anything...unless you look for it. The metallic black went on like liquid tint paint.
