Im new here so I might not b asking in the right spot but can anybody tell me what all year make and models have the same motor as my 95 300zx 2+2 n/a any help will b greatly appreciated thanks.

Hey welcome to NICO! I made you your own thread.

As far as I know the 1990-95 NA engines will all interchange there are some slight differences in electrical components and fuel injectors but you can just swap them over as needed. I am completely unsure of the interchange for the 1996 engine.

I am very interested in this info cuz I really miss my 300zx but dont have the money to buy a new motor but I do work at a scrap yard shreadding plant so I see and crush A LOT of cars and I would really like to know if any of them motors will fit my 300zx.

just get a rebuild kit!, na 300zx motors are fairly cheap to rebuild. PLUS a motor that was rebuilt would be A LOT more reliable than a JY motor about to be shredded!

And, keep an eye out for low mileage part outs that would yield a serviceable engine.

I wouldnt have a problem doing a rebuild especially since im in ohio and winter is right around the corner so I can take my time but I blew a rod in my motor and it took out the block so I need another motor to rebuild.

Thats the same thing I would of said to tiwnturbozxtacy before I started working here but u would b amazed of sum of the cars I see here I have seen s*** with like 80, 000 miles on it and in mint condition so I was just hoping I could get lucky and find another car that had the same motor in it or at least the same block cuz I NEVER see any 300zx's come in here.
