240s are pretty cool but the owners arnt, so just stay way from anyone that say the own a 240. Im working on one of those firebirds in my shop, there pretty nice in person.
And do you want to get competitive with auto-x? Because if your not you will be waisting your money and I think you lose alot of the joy when you are super competitive.

And how are you qualified to make such a comment? You dont know what it's like to sit on a well prepared grid, to watch the times drop throughout the day while you wait your run, going over the track in your head. You dont know what it's like to battle with people each weekend through several autocross associations in your region. You dont know what it's like to dominate a field. You dont know what it's like to bring home FTD. You dont know what it's like to hoist a season championship trophy. You dont know anything about being super competitive.

My joy comes from being competitive, because without that you're just wasting everyones time while they wait for you to finish your sloppy/slow run and rolling their eyes as they pickup your +7.

I am EXTREMELY competitive, especially when it comes to cars and racing. I hate losing. So no, it will not be a waste of money for me at all.

when i run EP i'm the only car in my class... so i just go out and fun beating people in a truck...

when i drive the ST civic, however, my game plan changes hardcore. i try to take first in class, beat the car owner, dominate the course... and to be honest its agonizing... but after the final run it was all worth it... best times of my life... being competitive is what makes it fun truthfully

I have a hard time not being competitve, even in daily driving, lol. I have to get a jump on the person next to me. Not street racing or anything like that. Just having a nose ahead at the speed limit, lol.
