Hello everybody, new guy here. I usually hang out on the 67-72 Chevy truck forum because I am restoring a 69 Chevy swb, but I recently acquired a 1974 Datsun pickup to battle the gas prices and also because I think these trucks are just all around cool. I got the motor running decently, but when I tore into the front suspension, I found some parts unobtainable. Namely the threaded bushings and the pin that goes in the lower outer control arm and also the upper inner threaded bushing and cross shaft for the upper control arm. If these parts are obsolete and I am unable to rebuild the current suspension, what do I do? I have read that some people put ball joint setups in these trucks. If so, what fits my truck. I would rather stay original but I'm up for anything that gets me back on the road reliably.
