Now IF I ever had that GT-R.........I would want a warranty to cover that badboy, and I also may want some mod's as well to go with that beast. I am not feeling that fact Nissan wants that GT-R un-touched, should it not be the owners choice since they are buying the car?

Really think so? You seriously underestimate just how interconnected everything on that monstrosity is. We are not talking about a speed and boost cut. ABS, traction control, transmission control, constantly variable timing etc. This thing clowns on the frigging space shuttle for complexity. Enjoy your fancy toy saps, if Nissan will let you.

nice @ss car, but with all that hassle, the car could fall off the face of the planet for all i care. too much conformity and not enough individuality. i mean, valve stem sensors to prevent different wheels? come on...

Mines ran into the issue of it being untunable, thats why the Mines' GTR only has an aftermarket exhaust and suspension.

With a 0-60 mph time, 11.5 1/4 mile, near 200 mph topspeed and the ability to seat 4 and drive in the snow does it really need to be tuned?

Very true.

Even if it doesn't "need" to be tuned, man built it, man will find a way to modify it. Besides, someone must be rich enough to not worry about the warranty right?

first off, this is what they said when fuel injection came out, didn't we get around that? we just have to be smarter and think more about making our car faster. nothing can just stay the same forever.second, if i had the car, i would probably leave it as the most badass daily driver supercar that can handle snow that it is

I am not putting that much money on the wood to buy a car that is purposefully designed to subvert my efforts at squeezing more power out of it. My Skylines and other vehicles are willing accomplices in my pursuit of more power, this thing is gay.
