Howard, If it was me, I'd wait to see what the 2011 G37 comes out like. I haven't been able to get much info, but it looks like it will be the 2012 that gets the next gen 350hp DI VVEL motor. With that in mind, I would probably hold on one more year and either get a 2011 new, or get a great closeout deal on a 2010.Either way, you won't be able to use 87 on those!G_whizz wrote:Besides Telco...I would HATE to see you using REg octane in a G37..

PERFECT! That will be my 30th anniversary. I have told my hubby that the 30th is going to cost him. Now I know what it will be!Tampa G35 Sedan 6MT wrote:
the new g37 is nearing its end of the body style. 2011 should bring a new revised body style.

In my younger years yes. Got 246k on the 1980 Diesel Rabbit, over 200k on the 1988 Mazda 929, and over 100k on my 92 Lexus ES300tollboothwilley wrote:With all your talk on being smart with $$ and stuff, I would think that you would at a minimum push your car til 200K. I'm at 150K now and still running strong.

No but here is one thing that concerns me about the G37G37 Tire Size--------------------------------------------------------------------Tires / Wheel Size P225/50WR18 Rear Tires / Wheel Size P245/45WR18 --------------------------------------------------------------------SVTCOBRA wrote:OK OK, just got a little excited!!
Hey, have you thought about that new SHO ???
Actually, I sat in it today for the first time and was disappointed....seat didn't sit well with me.
I already checked that out with one of the local Infiniti service advisors.G_whizz wrote:Besides Telco...I would HATE to see you using REg octane in a G37..
I just bought a house...zozoka1212 wrote:Kenrik I thought you are saving for a GT-R. Did you scrap that plan?
Nice, congrats buying a house.Kenrik wrote:

Porsche is not a bad compromise though.
I had a 74 RX4 that had over 100k miles on the rotary engine. Sold it in 1991Kendahl wrote:When I picked up my G37S, I gave away a 23 year old Mazda RX-7 that was still running strong at 190k miles. We still have a 1998 Subaru wagon with 192k miles that I have no plans to replace. I expect to keep the G37S at least as long as I did the RX-7.
Having test driven 2004 and 2005 G35 coupes, I know that my G37S is a better, more refined car. That was important for me even though it cost substantially more than the used G35s. It all depends on what you want to do with your money.
Did some test driving today. 2009 G37 6 speed manual with Navigation.SVTCOBRA wrote:OK, time for update.Have you been out test driving???? If so, what and how did you like it????
Well by rotating my current Bridgestone Turanza 235-45-18 every 6k, I am getting over 50k miles out of them.Tampa G35 Sedan 6MT wrote:Howard... Don't be such a cheap A$$
You can not rotate your tires
You just have to buy new ones... and seing as you have so much in your 401k you should have plenty to buy them lol...
You know you could get the Base Auto and get all 4 same size tires
