Well by rotating my current Bridgestone Turanza 235-45-18 every 6k, I am getting over 50k miles out of them.

I followed the owners manual rotating the the original set every 7500 mi and got rid of them at 47k.

So much for following the owners manual. It also says something about using premium.

I asked about premium and regular in the G37 while at the dealer. I was told that during the peak gasoline prices many used regular with no ill effects.

My question though is if tires on the G37 cannot be rotated and wear out more frequently could my present tires be used on a G37?

If not why not?

What is the advantage of different size tires on the front & rear?

225-50-18 front

245-45-18 rear

You can't used the tires that you have on it now because the 6mt comes with the 14" rotors and calipers and I think the new 18's are very close to hitting the rim as it is. They had to design the rim to fit over the caliper. The ones that we have stock on our g's don't have the proper offset.

If you got different rims that were the same width you could mount a 245 45 18 tire all the way around.

The advantage in different size is

1 look2 Better traction (Dry and wet for the rear) and (Wet for the front as it won't hydroplane as easy because it is narrower)3 Money maker (so you spend more on tires and service)4 But i do have them staggered on my g too
