Well if YOU dont care about noise all the time and know for sure you wont get pulled over every other night, then do what you do. I would just say to make sure its halfway decent exhaust pipes, not that thin crap thatll rust out and leak in no time that Meineke uses.

To answer your other question, you'll have to buy and exhaust manifold. Theres no real point in getting headers with a stock motor, plus to get costom made ones it will cost a good 200 (<~~ guessing), and who knows what kind of quality metal and fitment thatll end up being. If thats the case you might as well just buy a whole new name brand header back exhaust for a few dollars more.

Ok I realize you think no one cares about noise but I'm telling you ur still gonna get pulled over for noise pollution with an NA straight pipe... I don't think you understand just how loud it is. Ever been to the track or a drift event where ur like wow those v8s are rediculously loud? Well that's because they're NA straight piped. Urs won't be as loud as those unless you're gunning it everywhere hittin redline in every gear, but still loud enough to piss off ur neighbors, parents, roommates every time u go on a late night beer or munchie run

IMO don't go NA straight pipe and if ur really adament (sp?) about it then rock it open cat for a few days and see how much fun it really isnt

I'm stilling dealing with pissy nieghbors who like to say I drive 50 mph blasting my exhaust in an apartment complex with a speed bump up for every 30 ft of road, they call the office and the police, which both calls were pointless because I know everyone in the office and the officer that got sent out is a long time "friend" so he gave me a "warning" and we bullshited car stuff for a while.

In lamens terms uppity people hate exhaust and will b**** royaly about it if they feel the need to b****, if you ain't got some kind of pull with the police they will tell you to fix it or ticket

Holy s*** if I had a nickel... I use to get bitched at by my neighbors subsequently through my parents about my "speeding" down the street when in reality I was idling down the street, it just sounded like I was driving fast to idjits who don't know cars
