Not all of the 2010 models are available yet, but will be soon. Some models are carry overs from 2009 and will be current models throughout the year. All prices include shipping to the continental US. All Alpine head units support iPod full speed control..... a must if you have an iPod. You will need an optional cable which runs $25, but the more expensive units include the cable. I am going to post links for each unit to Alpines main site. There are too many features and specs to list them for every radio. Just let me know if you have any questions. I have been selling/installing Alpines for 17 years, so I should be able to answer any question you may have. I stock all accessories: iPod cables, Bluetooth modules, satellite tuners, and installation parts etc. I take Paypal and will generally have your item shipped out the very next day.

Product Update: Alpine's new add-on amplifier is now shipping. The KTP-445 is a 45-watt x 4 RMS amplifier. It simply plugs inline into the back of your Alpine. So no wiring, no hassle etc. It is small enough to fit behind the radio of most vehicles. It works with any 'black" plug Alpine head units.

Alpine KTP-445 Retail $140 Nico Price: $119 shipped! or $99 when packaged with any head unit.

I currently have the CDA-9883 headunit that's a couple years old. Would I be able to use the same wiring harnesses (antenna, PAC-SWI interface, factory wiring adapter...) with the CDE-103BT?

Thanks.

The 103BT will plug in the same way except for the steering wheel control. The 103BT is not capable of steering wheel control. It's still a very basic unit.... basically the 102 with the addition of Bluetooth. Which in 2009 the 102 was their entry level piece. You would have to at least step up to a CDA-105 to get the ability to accept a steering wheel interface.

Thanks. Is the 103BT the only single DIN unit with built-in bluetooth?

Correct, but you can add the same exact Bluetooth to any Alpine for $99. It will operate no different than if it was "built in".

Does the W900 include full speed Ipod cable, and when is this unit available for purchase? Very interested in getting one ASAP! Please let me know, my email is [email protected], thanks!

This is probably a noob question, but if there's a USB port can't you just plug in the ipod cord? Or is it really not that simple?

It's not that simple. If the model # has CDE as the first three letters, then the USB is not for use with the iPod. So on these units you would either need the optional iPod cable, which will charge the iPod and give you control from the radio, or you would need to use the 1/8" jack on the front of the radio.

If the model # has CDA, INA, IXA or IVA then it will have a USB cable coming out of the back. You would then simply use the white iPod cable or the optional Alpine USB - iPod. This will then give you full control and charging.

Ohh, thank you, I'm still trying to figure out audio stuff, all I know is I don't particularly like the system my car came with. I don't really feel like putting out the 30 bucks for a cord.

Broadfield, does the W900 play nice with the H701? What about the backup camera? Is Alpine forcing a proprietary connection so you can't use a standard RCA video feed from an older backup camera?

I can only assume it does since it works with the 505, but I'll check to make sure. The W900 has both standard composite video camera input and Alpine's proprietary plug for their camera. Best of both worlds!

Cool, for whatever reason I thought the backup cam would only work with the proprietary connector. I didn't know it was selectable to use a composite signal.

Thanks for checking on the H701. I'm still debating between a W900/H701 and a carputer. Few other mods to be done first, so it might take a bit to scrap some cash together, just trying to budget it out in advance.

Do you carry the KCE-900E? It would obviously be needed with the H701 installed.

Also, prices any cheaper to pick up? I'm not too terribly far away.

Well, I don't think you need the KCE-900E. I think that's only for the old school navigation units. The W900 is all internal as far as navigation goes. The KCE-900E isn't even listed on Alpine's website anymore. But I can check with their tech department when the time comes for you to buy.

I only factor in about $8 - $10 in shipping. I'm sure gas alone would cost you more than that. And the fact that I would have to charge you tax if you picked it up at my storefront.

Definitely nothing that I carry. As far as I know, nothing period. No Pioneer, Clarion, JVC, Sony, Kenwood etc.

I just can't understand why noone would make something to support it. Hell.. KICKER even made an awesome docking station for it. (SUB and all) It would just be nice to be able to select everything on the head unit instead of using both it and the zune when I use an Aux Cord.

Well, let me put it this way: I know a GNARLY load of people..... and not a single one of them own a Zune. Almost every single one of them own some form of iPod/iPhone or multiples of each. A lot of them own Macs or are switching over to a Mac also. So I just don't think the market is there for it. Out of every radio I have sold to a customer, whether it be on here or in my store, I have only had a handful of people that were looking for a Zune compatible unit.

Need a head unit, that I can hook up and have amp control for 2 10's. And install kit. Will the 102 model fit my needs? Don't need anything too fancy.05 Chevy Silverado. It's the tow vehicle :P

Yes, the 102 has a subwoofer out. Do you have the factory Bose system? So do you need the dash kit, wiring harness and antenna adapter? Also, this vehicle uses data-bus transmission through the radio. So if you remove the radio without using a data interface module, you will lose door chime. Most people don't care about this. The interface module will also supply switch power to the radio, as there is no switch power in the OEM radio harness. That interface runs $55 and would also be the wiring harness. If you don't mind losing door chime and running a switch power lead, then you can just buy a regular GM harness. That harness would be $3.95. The dash kit is $10.95 and the antenna adapter is $5.95.

Thanks,

Toby

Not really. I have a couple Kenwoods left over..... but that's about it. I'm trying to pick up Pioneer for the sole purpose of only one of their new radios coming out. The new DEX-P99RS..... should be one of, if not thee, best sounding automotive CD player ever made. But with a price tag of around $1350, I doubt I'll be selling them to high school kids.

You never know. I have always disliked Pioneer double DIN units. Their user interface leaves little to be desired over an Alpine. However, I realize customers still want to buy them. So I will carry whatever people are willing to spend money on
