This "new project" started last summer when I spun the #2 rod bearing in my SR I was just going to pull the motor bring it into my basement a have all winter to rebuild it and by this time this year put it back in and have my verty back on the road for the nice weather ! Well that all changed once again due to drunken talk and even drunker ideas ! We deemed the "new project " NBSTA (never be the same again) so to start I got the new SR to put in but my boy julio has tried time and time again to get me to do a right hand drive conversion since i had my 91 fastback with the SR . I always said no no its to much trouble its not like your Hondas (those things are like legos) . I got the verty over a year ago I was searching for body parts for the fastback and stumbled across the verty selling for 4100$ I hustled and I mean HUSTLED the seller down to 2k for it ( call me Larry flint ) not even a week later i got plates for it and state inspection the next week pulled the SR outta the fastback and swapped it to the verty 3 weeks later after the whole day enjoying the sounds of the SR with the top down driving threw the Holland tunnel and all threw Soho NYC we drove to the jersey shore where she decide to give on me and start knocking about 85 miles away from my house it got towed back thank god for AAA and that leads me to the start of this post . After hustling 2 new SR motors for 300 $ yea I'm good, my boy and i found this guy a few towns over with a rhd clip for 500$ bucks with every thing even rhd mirrors and door panels ! After going to his house and seeing his daily driver pulsar, his dealer plated skyline, and his dads old school mini all rhd plus the half cut i was sold and souped to do it RHD SR with the top back I'm hooked ! well long story short here's some pics as the build progresses ! sr in the 1st timeout of the verty rebuilt motorloaded up honda wagon with parts !jdm oil change sticker pic of enjoyment this dudes pulsar!the rhd halfcutfire wall removed whole !out side spot welds drilled outinside marked out for cut due to extra bracing right at base of fire wallcutting action !taking one for the team (bad cutting action)surprise more added brace !!peek threw finaly out !!!owned my boy julio found him passed out while i was working ! he woke me up at 7am sat by sneaking into my room banging a pot screaming lets goooooooo time to go to work ! now that is motovation! rhd frie wall in and some welding pics!after a long day of working we just had to get some more motovation and figga out exactly why were doing this ? test fitted dash wow! hopefuly in the end its all worth it just to turn a few heads !well this is at the point im at its a slow process since im doing it outside and the dude next door is a PIRCKKKK ! i only get to work on it till dark like 2hrs after work and the weekends but they get cut short cause i become anti social when i work on my cars ! this project im trying not to fall back into that lol ! im sure every one is guilty of that plus my other girl the real girlfriend needs time also ! lol hopefuly i didnt overload you guys with to much pics but if you like when i get more ill post with more details of pics if anyone is intrested !

nice job. its hard to find folks who provide detailed pics of this conversion. you should consider making a write up, maybe documenting where all the spot welds are. that helps. thanks!

Shmexy job on the RHD conversion sir jdmeriffic even. But I noticed you mentioning more than one sr20 in your first post ^^ if ever any of those bad boys are for sale plz plz plz let me know. I live just west of DC and 295 is just at the top of 95 north (about 2-3 hrs from here) and I could def convince a friend to help me pick it up with a truck. I would also be interested in any 5 spd trannys you have (no not the kind ronaldo likes, the other kind of transmission) Xp

Yah ok i hate to brake it to u Julio your not that slick !! lmao thats why u ddidnt even leave my house tilll like 3 am and i woke your *** up at 12 seeing whats up ! fire works my *** .

Well i got good weather to work with today but a late start heres some updates ...heres all the brackets that didnt line up taken off.the RHD brackets welded in (notice there blue only was able to use 2 USDM brackets the 2 white ones)something i found intresting theres indents on the firewall from the factory spot welds should of been if it was made rhd from factory ! it helped to line up the bracket!pic of the bottom part of the rhd column lined up with those indents !heres the mock up of the climate control box's and the steering column to make sure it all lines up and what a mess to cut open a hole for the blower motor once again there verty braces in the way and the angle is diffrent on the opp side i got to figure out what im going do with it i have and idea hopefuly it works and got to fill in the old blower motor opening ..

nah i def wanted to keep the vin ! thats why i split the fire wall under the cowl and switched the wipers and wiper motor over to the rhd style . cause i dont want to have any problems with laws and tampering the vin so it all some "what legit ".. you never know what cop will just want to bust your balls for it being rhd !

Dude, ****ing sick work. My firewall is out right now and I need to chop up my RHD cut. I am definately going to be welding up some stuff in my engine bay as well. You just gave me some motivation.

I lovet the pic with the APBT. I have a pic or two in my thread with my Olde English Bulldogge.
