Zach, I believe the hammer has dropped.

Gold Different. I'm not sure I like it, but you shouldn't care. Definitely interesting. Looking forward to seeing more.

dexter to each there own . but thats what i def was going for a diff kinda look now lets think how many black or gray engine bays have you seen. Im trying to lean towards a tru jdm look . and we all know some jdm things are far out of the normal for us all more reason for the gold.

as for the color its called inca tiger eye pearl its allmost and exact color of the brembo brake gold . its a 2 stage paint sprayed from a gun .

Don't get me wrong, that paint is... fabulous - that's the only word that comes to mind. It's cool for sure.

Don't mind me though, I'm told I have no style... by a guy who wants to do his interior in coach or something...

Just keep up the good work and I'm sure when all is said and done it will be bad ***.

i dont have any pics of the wiring yet cause im not done with it due to the fact that i moved all the fuse blocks to the trunk so allmost every wire had to get cut and extened back up but allot of the dash harness not all but alot was easy just fliped to the other side and what not the braket for the kickpanel fuse block was reverse so i used the jdm one and also had to swap the door harness

I hear ya. I'm VERY lucky to have a spot in our shop. Although I'll need to get the car done very soon cause we're running out of space. Our shop can hold 12 cars at night, and I'm #12. And boy did it rain today! i thought it was going to come right through the roof! Metal roofs a sooooo loud.

I bet, I was there when a couple buddies put a sawsall to a EG hatch for the same task. I told myself, never.

Yea, I can only imagine how hard this all came out to be since the pictures just progress without showing any hard labor and such.

well the interior is pretty much gutted on mine and all the interior pieces I "was" going to use that came with it is junk. I figured, if i'm going to be buying bits and pieces for the inside, mine as well go stupid with it.

Anyways, I will be putting a sawsall to the car, and depending on my reaction from that venture might lead me into other paths, haha.

But I can only wait to hear your impression of the first time down the road with the top down, and everyone's face...

Ya I was about to do my vert RHD this past winter as well. Then we got a customers car in the shop and that took all ambition out of me to do it, at least for the time being. I still may take it back apart this winter and do it just because.

The car that ruined RHD for me...well for the summer anyways! lolFrom this...

To this...

In less than 8 weeks...We were a bit tired after that.

pretty sure he's not... but that just gave me the sickest idea evAr!

How balllllinnnnnnnn would it be to paint the rest of it like brushed aluminum, and put straight GOLD wheels on it...

then pop the hood and BAM!

Be like two-tone Bling... and then redo the valve cover in Chrome, with gold lettering and chrome accents in the engine bay...

like daaayyyummmmm!

edit:

like... it would be very Rap Music Video-esque... but it WOULD be crazy as f***..

Nice Job! Especially on a vert. I just settled for a 5 speed swap and a silvia front on my 92 vert.

However, I'm doing a RHD swap to my hatch and have only ran into one problem, the gas door/hatch release. I cant seem to find one for sale, and the US one doesnt work. So what to do? How did you tackle this?

Thanks!Chris
